We were referred to Rocky Top Lending and are grateful we found them. There were several unexpected developments and changes with the sale of our current home that effected the purchase of our new one. John was wonderful to work with. Thinking about going through the processes of buying a home can seem scary, confusing and overwhelming. And my wife and I were first time home buyers and had no idea how ANY of the mortgage process worked! However, being paired with Russ Cooper helped us understand everything which made the process less scary and more digestible. He made sure he took the time to explain the things we didn't understand. He didn't hide from the fifty million questions I had. And he had no problem adjusting his time to accommodate us after work hours. All in all, he held our hand through the entire process. Which is what we truly needed! He would say "hey, that's what I'm here for" and he lived up to that throughout the whole process! I definitely would recommend Russ Cooper at Rocky Top Lending!

John Renfro is the epitome of someone who is very professional at all times and thoroughly explains all avenues of the lending process. I worked with Russ Cooper at Rocky Top Lending. Russ went ABOVE and beyond what his job functions were. I bought a house sight unseen, because I live out of state. He was extremely flexible with my schedule (6 hour time difference). He let me call any time of day to answer any questions I had, which was a lot. He always made me feel at ease when a problem arose and solved it immediately. Russ even had a vacation planned during the process and still took my calls. Russ is extremely dedicated and you can tell he really cares. Highly recommend Rocky Too Lending and especially Russ!
