They told me to do app and I would be the first that they call when the place came available…they called me I went right up there got the key and as I was looking at the place the big lady at the front called and said “I was calling to let you know that someone has put a deposit down.” How when I had the key and I was suppose to be the first to look at it when it became open…

IT'S A SCAM! THEY ASKED ME FOR $30 IN CASH TO REGISTER FOR A HOUSE THAT IS CLOSE TO ANDERSON UNIVERSITY. THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE READY IN 1 MONTH AND THAT IF I WAS SELECTED THEY WOULD SHOW IT TO ME. WELL, 5 MONTHS HAVE PASSED SINCE THEN AND THEY HAVE NOT SHOWN US THE HOUSE EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE BEEN SELECTED ACCORDING TO THEM. WHEN WE WENT TO ASK, THEY DID NOT GIVE US A REASON AS TO WHY THEY DON'T CALL US TO SHOW US THE HOUSE AND THE STRANGE THING IS THAT THEY CONTINUE TO PUT ON THEIR WEBSITE THE SAME HOUSE THAT IS CLOSE TO ANDERSON UNIVERSITY FOR WHICH WE APPLIED. WHEN WE WENT TO SEE THE HOUSE FROM THE OUTSIDE, WE SAW THAT IT IS OCCUPIED LIKE 5 MONTHS AGO. THEY SCAMMED US! WE WILL GO TO THE AUTHORITIES. They have been using the same house to receive money from gullible people like me for months. And obviously they make you sign a form that says that the money cannot be returned so they can continue accumulating money from gullible people like me.THIS PHOTO IS FROM WEBSITE OF AZALEA, BE CAREFUL!!!

Rented a house from them and moved in the neighbors end up have spare keys to our house and we told them about it they didn't care so we left the keys in the door got all our stuff and left didn't even say anything or let them know we left and before we left Everytime we went out somewhere or to work. Came home something was always missing.

I have been renting a beautiful place for over 2 years.
The company n employees are always nice n professional.
Maintenance calls are taken care of in a great timely manner.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. The house we rented from them for almost 5 years had been painted with lead paint and that was not disclosed to us when we moved in. When we notified them of it and of my children’s blood lead levels being elevated the man running the office said “it wouldn’t surprise me”. They had someone come out to get a quote and then stated he never messaged them back. Instead of calling them or contacting a new contractor after waiting for three months and no sign or word of anything being done we emailed them to see what was going on and they told us “we suggest you move”. With both of my children being 3 y/o and under we basically had no choice but to get them out of that literally toxic environment. Lead paint can cause lifetime irreparable damage to children under the age of 7 espically. These people do not care about their tenants. They wouldn’t even allow us to move into another home without going through the entire rental process again as if we were new tenants. There were no houses even available to accommodate us for their mistakes and straight up negligence. Being young we didn’t know anything about lead paint, but once we learned about it it was evident that they had just pained over all of the places where it was evident of chipping/ peeling paint and renting to the next tenant rather than testing the home and dealing with the issue. To this day their is still pieces of pain that had fallen from the outside of the home and into the first surrounding the home. Even the soil on the out side of the house is contaminated. DO NOT RENT FROM AZALEA!!

I went and did a application and got approved for it. So I had to wait until the apartment was ready like a month later. They called everyone that was approved. They called me to let me know I can see the apartment so I did. When I was there looking at the apartment with the key in my hand I told them I wanted it. The woman on the phone said okay but u gotta have your deposit if u want it. I said okay I’m On my way with my deposit. I gets there and someone else done put a deposit on it. I’m thinking to myself why didn’t she just tell me over the phone someone else have it. Then when she told me I couldn’t get it she say my deposit has expired and I have to pay another fee to renew it. I said I’m good and left. You have to race there and if you do you never know if you 1st or 5th in line. It will give your hopes up. They give you no time at all. They call everyone at once. It’s a waste of time and it’s so unprofessional smh.

I was the first to go view a house fell in love with it. (We were told we were first to get the key to look at it) we went to the bank and got the deposit and first month's rent. We come back and they said someone else had already put down a deposit. We weren't aware two different parties could look at a property at the same time.
(Other person didn't even view the house ) We were very upset we had everything already in works of utilities being transfered. This was just the latest experience. Two years ago we rented an apartment through them behind a golf course. While we were visiting family for the holidays. A golf ball had shattered our back boor (it was the middle of winter, and my son wasnt even a year old.) they refused to fix it. We also found BLACK MOLD in the hall way closet. They refused to fixed it. So they don't care about your health, they are unprofessional on how they do the application process, they are rude, I do not recommend them. But unfortunately they are one of the only companies that you don't have to put in an application for everyone in the home.

Went yesterday to do a application, and they called shortly after saying we got approved. But here's the kicker, even if your approved you can not put a deposit down till it's "ready". So I called up there this morning to see if it's ready, they said no, it's not but it might be today it might not. I said well are we the first to get approved? The lady said no, and they will go in line till someone rushes up there with a deposit. How is this working?! This is unprofessional and down right stupidity. It's a race to see which person can get up there quicker. $30 down the drain for a free back ground check. I should have just read the 100+ bad reviews on how they do business.
