Rented with intent to rent to own in 2017. Never signed a lease past the first year to make it a RTO, but they insisted it was my responsibility to fix a $13,000 HVAC unit, replace all subflooring that was rotting through (literally holes in the floors). When I asked the price they wanted to purchase outright and I was going to remove the trailer and put a new one in, they went off about every "violation" I ever did (with NO LEASE). Still refused to fix anything after that. Claimed it was another person's home and they would have to ask them. When I gave my 30 day notice they blew my phone up (even at work) about getting in there to fix things that were known about for years and telling me they were "getting in one way or another". Had to contact police to stop the harassment. Then issued an eviction 10 days before they knew I was going to be out. House is for sale now, they finally realized it wasn't worth fixing I guess. Should have sold it while they had the chance.

My daughter refused to write this review but I’m writing it on her behalf bc she had to live without heat for two weeks pregnant, with temperatures dropping as low as 25 , however they still want they $45 late fee not realizing the strain they put on my daughter. And it wasn’t my daughters fault the heat went out it was a old unit as they stated… there was other steps that could have been taking when her heat was out but she didn’t want to take action but had it been me I would have been calling all over to do something about it cause
No way a person should freeze in they home and still be expected to pay a damn late fee

I have been renting from McDaniel Leasing for many years and I am very happy with them. They are all great people and have always treated me well. If I ever have an issue in my apartment they get to it as soon as possible.

Worse of all. They don't give any shit about you especially after the hurricane hit you, they just wanna evict you because they don't give a shit if you have to use all of your money to pay for food, rent a car, coals to cook, and more including many food was spoiled. Yet they don't give any shit and evict you because all they wanna is your money that's it. They even don't give any shit if you have to pay new car out of your pocket. They wanna money. They are crying for money. They don't give a shit for anyone's wellness. And the houses don't hire professional repairmen. They hired their boyfriends to come and fix it.

This company does not deserve the one star google forced me to give. The properties are maintained so well you can even see the dead roaches no one bothered to even brush off the walls before painting. Attempted break-ins at your property while you’re living there? No problem, expect to fix it yourself while they expect that full rent check the next month. Have an emergency? Just email it, it’s the only way they allow you to report but they’ll promptly get back with you after you notify them again on the matter. Oh and please expect to never receive your deposit back. They might tell you to your face you’ll get it back but no. You can play by all the rules and they’ll send u a nice letter with the pettiest excuse as to why u won’t b seeing any of your deposit not even a partial. I’m glad I rented from them. Made me realize how luxurious it was to live in my car.

0 Stars - Renter beware - The drive through bullet proof teller window installed in their office should be enough to tell you how they treat their tenants. A water leak and mushrooms growing up through the carpet in a back bedroom near the bathroom leak were discovered and reported immediately. This was met with a letter to vacate and now the house is available to rent. In 3 years no one from the property management ever came to inspect the house. We were told we needed to be more proactive in catching problems in the house and not letting them go on and on. Do not rent from these slumlords. You will regret it.

Horrible leasing company. These reviews are VERY accurate. All they want is your money and don’t resolve any issues you may have with your place. Office women are very short with people and could care less about their tenants. Company avoids anything and everything except raising your rent or threatening to kick you out. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

If I could leave no stars I would! I spoke with the manager “Amanda” about having an old eviction and got told they can work with me even tho I have an eviction so I did a application bc I was told I could still get approved with my eviction called back the next day and said I was denied bc of my eviction the “manger” “Amanda” will say anything to get 90$ application fee out of you then tell you it’s non refundable when I was told I’d get approved… horrible costumer service💯 I’m glad I can’t rent to them bc it looks from the rest of the comments that there horrible!! SAVE YOUR MONEY
