Put in a claim due to never getting a tie in to the road way from our driveway and every time it rained heavy it washed the drive way out. They responded almost immediately and every person I spoke with was extremely nice. The lady at the front receiving and sending emails was a blessing and so nice. The engineer and crew leader was nice. I had one issue with them wanting to take the gravel they dug out my driveway but it was immediately solved between the lady that answers the phones and I believe the guy over the dept. they were all very helpful and nice about it which is rare these days. Drive way looks great, asphalt done, got to keep my gravel they dug up… all in all great experience

I called and Renee answered the phone when I asked if there was a time frame for fixing Crest Dr off of Prince Perry . There is no plan in site. This road has been closed for 6 months. Now the detour road payment is falling off the sides of both roads. It has sunk away leaving big drop off's on both sides of both roads. Now my Granddaughter's instead of walking to the stop sign, the bus will not pick them up there and they have to walk way up the street to the next road!!! Renee was rude when I asked who can I call to find the time frame and apparently this question lives and dies with her...... she said there is no one to ask;...... the director is busy with other things and has no time for to ask him.!
I am going to drive there and ask to speak to the director of Roads and Bridges. If he can't tell me something, I will go to his boss or Governor McMasters if not then on to the Senator.........SOMEONE must know when in the future is this road going to be fixed or are we going to let it crumble completely , both roads

After repeated calls to the county, they still have yet to provide a solid response to the unsafe conditions on Glen St. When I call and speak with them, all they’ve told me over and over is that they’ve sprayed and cut back the overgrown foliage and patched a few pots holes. THAT does NOT fix the STATE trucks almost running me off the road while speeding down that small street. I was told, it’s not possible to widen the road, and I agree it’s not, all I ask is that they take the safety precautions necessary to ensure no one gets hurt due to, either a state truck, or another driver. I mean, you could atleast put up some warning signs or flags, or do something that atleast shows the least bit of effort. Instead, they have two stop signs on each end of the road, and a 15mph speed limit sign that is also overgrown and hardly visible to someone that would be going 30mph. Maybe speed bumps would be the proper solution? Either way it shouldn’t take an act of God to ensure the safety of our drivers. Especially when that safety is compromised by state vehicles, traveling well over the speed limit of Glen St. The state refuses to fix the Hester Store bridge before 2025, it may not seem like a big deal to everyone that doesn’t deal with this problem day to day. Eventually I was told “just go a different way next time” if I had the option “to go a different way” believe me, I would…

The County does not maintain the roads that have grass that grows up and impedes you from seeing if there is a car coming. Also when tree limbs grow over the road and the limbs there again keep you from seeing if there is a car coming. They aren’t doing there job
