From the moment we started touring houses, we felt like a part of April Johns family! We never felt like “just another client” and she was always so fast to respond to any questions or any listings we sent that we were interested in. The home we ended up purchasing had a big metal chicken in it that my toddler fell in love with, and April gifted him a big metal chicken as a house warming gift!!! Here's the deal. I moved to Sumter for work (military) and there were so many different options for realtors...my colleague recommended Evan Ray at Remax Summit who is a retired military guy as well. It's not my first time buying a home, I've bought and sold 5 times in my life....I'll tell you why Mr Ray was the best Realtor I ever worked with. I looked at 30+ homes within 3 weeks. Mr. Ray was organized, efficient, accommodating to my crazy schedule. He always found a way to line up a list of houses I wanted to look at that i researched on Zillow. Secondly, he wasn't one of those agents just after your money, he didn't push me to buy a house I didn't want, he had great suggestions and gave me things to think about. Lastly, Mr. Ray has a network of helpful agencies and people larger than the population of China it would seem. From inspectors, to Mortgage Brokers, to contractors, he's got it all. He's a straight talk red blooded American who If I ever buy or sell here, he's my #1 Choice. Furthermore, the Remax office workers were super friendly, kind, and organized. 11/10 would recommend to a friend.

Our son and his fiancée were graduating from college, preparing for their wedding and trying to buy a home in the Sumter area. They worked with agent Laura Padgett to locate and purchase a home.
