Urban Property Firm began work on our property on Feb 1st. We fired them July 31st with less than half of the work completed but 2/3 of funds paid. Mandie Brunson is horrible to work with and is extremely rude. I initially worked with the supervisor whom was nice. When I had questions as to why the work was not progressing, I started dealing with Mandie. With technology, it's simple to send pictures, updates, etc. I even setup an Asana project plan to assist them on maintaining a project timeline. She refused to use it. I had questions regarding the progress and she refused to meet with me in-person and refused to call me until an invoice was paid. I had questions about the invoice, work progress, and wanted to understand exactly what it covered but she refused to talk. I know it doesn't make any sense. She even made a comment after being fired that she didn’t know if we could pay for the remainder of the work. Money was not an issue but paying for a service that is not provided or work that is not done properly is an issue for me. Photos show debris left behind the house for weeks. Floor that was un-level. Sheetrock not mudded properly.

8/27/19 To be petty, rather than actually respond to my comment on their own page Urban Rehab went to a company that I contract with to write a review regarding me. I don't own that company and the company did not hire Urban Rehab. Proves my point. They are shady and refused to address the issue on their review page.

Here is what they posted. I don't have a problem sharing what they said. I operate with integrity. Did I pay an invoice late? Yes because I was trying to confirm that the work had been completed (they wouldn't even send pictures when I requested) and asking for a detailed project timeline which they refused to do.

Was Hired by Angela Waltower To Oversee a Renovation of A Home she claimed to own in South Carolina.

Midway through the contract Angela began having payment issues and informed us the owner of the home on record would assit with making payments. As we attempted to progress with the project Angela would delay by making partial payments, scheduling appointments to visit and check progress and would not show up or reschedule.

She became so behind on payments she eventually cancelled our contract after she could not come up with the money to pay for the extra work we completed.

If she does not pay you upfront DO NOT DO BUSINESS AS YOU WILL NOT GET PAID IN FULL NOR WILL YOU BE PAID ONTIME!

When I was looking for a place to live, I found an ad on Craigslist for a beautiful house in Sumter that is owned by Property Rehabs. There have been a few issues with the place, but both Tony and Elayne have been awesome about making sure that everything is taken care of as best as possible. They are very friendly and easy to talk to, and are willing to help out when they can. For example, I accidentally locked my keys in the house I'm renting, and called Tony. He let me know that Elayne was on her way with a key to help me out. I'm glad they've helped me with a place to live when I was out of options.

Hired this service to help my grandmother renovate her home. We live in Michigan and our grandmother lives downtown Sumter. The owner Mandie was very attentive to details and was available days nights and weekends if I had to call. The job was supposed to take 8weeks however they finished in 7. The renovated two bathrooms, the kitchen, painted the outside of her home and also refinished all hardwood floors. My grandmother was so pleased with the group of contractors Mandie had assist her with her home. The work was very quality and I'm planning to use there service to renovate my aunt's house.

I recommend this service to anyone who is in need of help. Very honest group of hardworkers.
