This neighborhood is nice. In fact, there is a proprietary design, custom built, Charleston style home for sale there now that is the deal of the century. The developer, Mr. Baylis Maxwell, screwed everyone who built a custom home. This was supposed to be a custom home only, HOA controlled neighborhood. When he couldn't sell all the lots, he called Crown Homes and sold out behind all of our backs. Crown came in and built 2-300K homes in a million dollar home neighborhood. He essentially screwed a lot of people and he is a scumbag in my opinion - and I don't call many people that - even behind their backs. I think a lot of Crown Homes, because they realized the situation and went out of their way to help us from Baylis and they built the homes to blend well! So you can get a great deal in here now and the HOA is still there and in control now that Mr. Maxwell got some money back. I guess he got in over his head and when you do that, you do the wrong thing or the right thing. He did the wrong thing, but the good part is even a large corporation has more character and did us all a favor by what they did. Buy a home here - you won't regret it. You can now live like a king and half price! Buyer = awesome deal. Homeowner before the back stab and trying to sell = bad deal.
