I find it interesting that my less than stellar review from a year ago is somehow no longer showing. But we have lived here for a little over a year in a few different apartments. To say the cons outweigh the pros would be an incredible understatement but let me give an honest review and see if this one stays up.

Pro: The office staff are very nice people and are very easy to interact with. The amenities such as the game room, community room, theater, fitness center are very nice and typically available for use.

Cons: Oh dear GOD… THE NOISE!!! I would say the walls are paper thin but I think that would be too thick. You know everything your neighbor does, every TV show they watch, every sneeze, cough etc. And you really do not want an apartment where people live above you. My wife is a night shift RN and I have lost count of the number of shifts she has had to miss because she could not sleep due to the people upstairs stomping so loudly (not just walking or walking heavy, but stomping), dragging furniture across the floors, etc. I have a health condition that makes me fall a lot and my kids often come flying out of their rooms thinking I fell, but it was just the people upstairs being so inconsiderate of the noise they make. The mechanical systems are terrible with very poor design, my hallway may be 70 when my living room is 60 in the winter. When we moved in the maintenance person who was in his last few days warned us how low quality the appliances were (the dishwasher, garbage disposal mostly, and the dryer that will not full dry your clothes because they are the “ventless” variety). Our loft floor creaks, cracks and pops so loudly, echoing through the bedrooms, and that is just from the people next door walking on their loft, I try not to walk around up there at all at night because my kids will be woken up by the immense noise it makes. You can not walk down the hallways most of the time without getting a contact high from the overpowering smell of weed coming out of most of the apartments.

It is quite a shame really. This place had the potential to be amazing, especially with the quality of the staff and the original structure. But the extremely cheap build quality of the fit out makes it a horrible place, especially for the price you pay to live here. Avoid it at all cost!!!

Edit: To reply to the response from owner, yes we moved back down from the 4th floor to the second… why? Because we were paying 3700 a month for an apartment that required us, in the summer, to run the central air, a portable a/c and a dehumidifier in to keep the unit livable. Resulting in having electric bills of over 800 a month in the summer. Without running all of this we would have a master bedroom that was over 80 degrees and over 80% relative humidity. In the colder months we also would have to run space heaters in the bedroom or wake up to a bedroom that was 50 degrees while the central heat was running at 68 or 70. Maintenance just shrugged about it, but we could not go through moving to another apartment complex with all the chaos we have going on, so we were forced to renew and live through hell. Because now we can not use our loft after the kids go to bed as the build quality is so poor, if I walk in the loft it pops and cracks so loud in the bedrooms it sounds like gunfire and wakes up the kids, but hey, thats okay cause the build it so poor, the neighbors walking in their loft will make the same loud noises for my kids too. You could not have possibly cut any more corners building this dump!!! But hey, at least it is 10:30PM right now and my kids are awake from the echos of the dogs down the hall barking back and forth at each other for the last 20 minutes.

**Update** Do NOT recommend. After living here for over a year, I can no longer recommend this property. There have been many staff changes and the property is NOT kept up nor is it clean. Besides the grounds looking like an abandoned place with weeds and overgrown shrubs, peeling wall paper in the putting green that looks like it’s waiting to be a crime scene I. A horror flick, the gym equipment is never cleaned and has debris all around the workout room, refusal to air condition the common spaces during the summer including the gym space so it is too hot to even work out… But the biggest issue by far is the dog poop in the halls, elevators, and around the property. Even though there are cameras “everywhere”, the office says they are unable to identify the residents who are allowing their pets to poop and pee in the halls, elevators and walkways. It’s disgusting and has been happening for MONTHS. Other than an email asking pet owners to clean up after their pets, nothing is done.

There are so many dogs in this building now so it’s no wonder there is dog poop all over the property but in the halls and elevator The office did place a bottle of spray cleaner and paper towels next to the lobby elevator after a HUMAN had an “accident” and didn’t return to clean it. I refuse to pick up animal or human feces or clean up urine. I clean up after my dog and can’t understand how other residents who do not clean up after their pets aren’t fined or evicted.

While I was very enthusiastic about this property the first few months of living here, I am regretting signing a new lease because now I am locked into another year or would have to “buy out” the remainder of my lease to move. That would cost thousands of dollars which I cannot afford. I really liked living here the first 6 months and I hope Brady Sullivan, the property management company can literally, and figuratively, clean up this place so we don’t have to contend with biohazards in our elevator, lobby and hallways. It’s really embarrassing and disgusting.

**original post** Highly recommend! From the first contact with the leasing staff, to move -in, and now living here, my experience has been amazing. Seriously. The leasing agents, Brittany and Timothy are so friendly and helpful. Adam, the property manager is great too. All three are visible at the property, easy to talk to, responsive and truly care about the residents. The maintenance staff is outstanding and fixes things promptly. The lobby and halls are always keep clean.

The amenities here are so cool! You can read about them on the website but I would like to point out the ones that I love. The lobby area is so inviting that residents regularly gather by the fireplace to have coffee and chat. When the weather is nice out, we gather by the outdoor fire pit for coffee in the mornings or maybe a cocktail to watch the sunset. The location on the river is so peaceful and rejuvenating. But the other residents are what makes this place such a joy to live here.

Obviously the location so close to downtown Warren cannot be beat! There are cafes, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. We have ample parking in our parking lot so we don’t have to fight for a parking spot on Main or Water Street.

I am so happy to have found an apartment at Tourister Mill because it’s absolutely perfect. My one bedroom/one bath also has a loft that can function as a bedroom. I believe the studios have a loft too. They don’t have vacancies that last very long so if you want to live here, talk to Brittany, Tim or Adam and they will help you out.

My boyfriend just renewed our lease for a third year and couldn’t be happier! Not only is the location stellar, good amenities, but also the front office staff has been welcoming and helpful to us since day one. Special shout out to Adam and Brittany who are always ready to lend a hand with whatever we need. We literally wouldn’t have a place to live without them!

What a great place to live! We spent time looking at every Brady Sullivan property and knew immediately Tourister Mill was were we wanted to live! We spent time waiting and for the right unit and calling frequently for updates, Elizabeth and Leslie were always gracious and helpful during the process and since moving in. It paid off, we have a gem! The views of the ocean and the sunsets confirms we made the right choice. The entire team is friendly, efficient and kind. We're thrilled with our decision!

I have been living in the Tourister mills for four months now and I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience it has been! The building, location and my apartment are absolutely stunning and the property management staff is excellent. They are immediately responsive and help with any ask I have big or small. They also helped me to settle into this new community and make me feel right at home. A huge thank you to Adam, Brittany and Tim for always being there to help! I highly recommend the Tourister if you are looking for a great new place to live!

I live here with my wife and 2 cats. We have a spacious, GLORIOUS 1BR loft style unit, facing the water. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this building. Everything about American Tourister Mill Building is tops. If you want a chic, old-meets-new building with every imaginable amenity in a good, safe neighborhood this is your place.
