Very disappointed in this company. Was using them for several years and all of a sudden I was informed that they’re no longer providing services in my area as of Friday, 1 day from now. I was told I was sent a letter about this change but did not receive it. I called a neighboring trash pick up company and was informed many people who this company dropped just like me also told them they did not receive the letters that Republic/Powell claims they sent to residents. If I could give less than a 1 star review I would. Based off of other customers not receiving the letter, I believe it was not a simple oversight and just complete negligence and lack of care for customers. Thanks.

Poor customer services and experience since new owners. Every time I would call, I got something different told to me. I cancelled service 3 days after my service was missed (8/20) and was told it would be the next day for 3 days straight. Then once I cancelled, I was told the pickup for the container would be in two weeks and I would be issued a refund for 2 1/2 months. As of 9/20 I have seen no refund, so I called again and was told something different once again. Just all in all done with this trash service and they should be a shame at losing all of Powell's business over the years. FYI- they do not let to answer the phones.

For 8 years I used Powell and I paid per month for weekly pick up, then they got bought out by this company. All of a sudden my bill went up almost 4 times what I have paid, for the same service. Didn't get a notification, they just charged my account, and I only found out because no one came to pick it up and then when I called they said I have to call from now on. You pay a rent fee which is high already and then extra crazy amount for every time they come. But that is what happens when companies monopolizes a specific service!! Terrible customer service!

Almost a year after cancelling service with Republic. And speaking to multiple different people.. I AM STILL getting calls texts and voicemails from them about payment. I got service with them in July-August 2020. It was picked up once in a few months. I called them to cancel and told them to come get the cans and take them back I didn’t want service. And would like a refund due to lack of getting the cans when I was told they would. They said they’d send someone out. The cans sat in my yard for two months. (Even after getting a new trash provider). They obviously never cancelled my account and they obviously don’t keep notes or records of anything because someone contacted me today asking about picking my trash can up. ALMOST A YEAR LATER. I’ve asked them multiple times stop contacting me and take me out of the system. Nothing. No cancelled account. No refund. Nothing. Unprofessional and definitely unorganized.

We had Powell Trash Service for a year and a half. They had great customer service until they were bought by Republic Services. They were not consistent when they picked up the trash and I had to keep calling each week. I canceled our service in July and have asked for them to pick up the trash can and refund the two months I have paid for but will not be using. Every time I call they say they will pick up the trash can, but then it never happens. We have also not gotten our refund. It has been almost two months now.

Wow. Worst customer service ever. Had a year contract with them and the pickup service was random with numerous missed days and calls claiming they would be by the next day. That rarely happened. Then received a letter saying they could no longer service the area after 9/30/22. Guess what I haven’t make a pickup since getting the letter. I’ll hold on to their curbie until they send me a refund which after reading the other reviews I expect never. They should be ashamed to have a 1.1 rating, can’t imagine who gave them more than a one.
