One of the worst first time experience I ever had. I made the mistake of paying before I looked at the place. I was checking to make sure the hot water was working and the knob fell off. Just fell right off. The bathroom sink, tub, and commode was so filthy I gagged.( They told me they had cleaned the house) Spider webs in the windows and grass was as high as up to my knees. You could have taken a ball, and placed it on one side of the room and it would beat you to the other side. The floors weren't even swept. Never again will deal with them. Oh, and they kept my rent deposit. I would have carried them to court but they seemed to need it more than me. Avoid them if you can.

This rental company is the worst rental property company that I have ever had any business dealings with. I was unemployed and was going to have to move out of my rental property which they were now managing. I informed this company that I would not be able to pay rent that month and that I would move out of the property by the end of the month and to just keep the one month security deposit.

I had originally signed a lease agreement with another company. I had been at this property for 4 years. This all occurred a year after the Covid pandemic in 2021. The jackass that runs this company proceeds to file an eviction notice on me with that property and now this is on public records. I should have sued this company for defamation of character. I would not recommend using this company.

Deserves ZERO STARS ! 🌟 I Was New To SC - They Moved Me Into A Property That Was Not Finished , I Injured Myself Falling Through My Bedroom Floor , Plumbing Was TERRIBLE & Front Porch Was Also Damaged All Things Plus MORE I Requested To Be Fix BEFORE My Move In & After I Paid My Deposit They Told Me I Had To Accept The Place As Is ! The Manager Is RACIST - Accused Me Of Stealing A Heater & Braking A Glass Window Out Of My Own House . They Don’t Care About The Tenants They Rent Too . When I Requested To Move Into Another Property He Bluntly Told Me I Couldn’t Afford Nothing More Than What I Had Already When I Have More Than One Income ! Now That I Moved Out Of The Property I’m Getting Accused Of Leaving Garbage & Furniture Behind That They Are Now Charging Me $300 For When I Know For A Fact I Removed All Of My Belongings . THIS IS WORST RENTAL COMPANY IN GREENWOOD SC ! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !

Section eight renters be aware these people ask for a $35 application fee for public records they can get for free if you have one eviction they will deny you!!!! when taking your application they won’t tell you they’ll deny you for an eviction and take your money anyway if you’re in need of housing this place isn’t the place to go for it seems to me they’re only looking to get money from people any way they can

I honestly have no idea what kind of business these people are supposed to be running. But it is sad and very unprofessional; they honestly should consider who they hire! Whenever there are issues with a place, they will NOT come for repairs! And they're so rude and shady, especially Tyrone...I would NEVER recommend renting from these people. I have not mentioned that customer service isn't up to par whatsoever. Many of these houses aren't even worth the price, especially when so much work needs to be done to them! Shame on Uptown Rentals, and lying saying that you're going to fix this and that and never do it beyond horrible. VERY disappointed; all they want is the money...

Very unprofessional & rude. My daughter (college student) is living in one of their homes. There is mold that they claim is mildew. No resolution after complaining. People were living under their house in the crawl space. They promised they'd padlock it....nothing. Now, the heat doesn't work. Someone came to the home & said they couldn't fix the issue. No one contacted her afterwards. After my complaining and threatening to report them, they are saying it will take 6 days to fix it, leaving my daughter in a home that is 47 degrees in the dead of winter. Before I threatened to report them, the man threatening not to fix the heat for 30 days because I wanted answers and wouldn't accept being brushed off because she's living in an in safe home and unsafe environment. I am not certain of what I should do right at this moment since I don't live in SC, but I will figure it out. These people are slumlords! I would absolutely warn you against using this company whether it's as a tenant or a landlord.

For the 1st time calling in for a maintenance problem the maintenance man came and fixed the problem the next day. Very nice person I may add.
The problem came back and had to call the after hours # Sat. morning. This has nothing to do with the maintenance repairman. The after hours voice mail was not set up. I believe this is not professional for a company not to have it's voice mail set up.
