RENTERS BEWARE … This property management company assumed control of the houses from a different firm approximately two years after I began residing in my unit. Initially, the experience improved significantly, as the maintenance staff was generally helpful. However, they only made superficial repairs to my home until I decided to move to a larger and better place. They retained my deposit for damages that were already present when I moved in. A friend of mine posed as a potential tenant and discovered that the management merely performed cosmetic fixes and repainted the property. Antonio also mentioned that my status as a Section 8 tenant would lead to a lack of concern from others. I have recorded this conversation, as I anticipate he may deny it. I took pride in maintaining one of the finest homes in my neighborhood, I personally spent my hard work and money left things in better shape items such as the mailbox and monitor lighting. If my house was indeed in such poor condition, why are the same floors and doors still intact? They only patched up the issues, painted, and replaced the doorknobs. I expect to receive some responses here, but I have reached out multiple times to Dan and Misty without any reply. They have also refused to provide photographs of the damages. I am grateful to know who I am and what I stand for. Threatening me and taking from my children because I am on Section 8 was a significant error. I look forward to addressing this matter with Dan, Misty, and Antonio soon.

They don't keep the door locked anymore! Unfortunately had to leave our property before we were ready but overall Lott Management gave us a great opportunity with the rental we found. Reasonable price in a great neighborhood.

Lived in one of their apartments for two years and they were always great communicators and very quick and helpful when it came to fixing things around the apartment if it was needed. Small operation, but Misty and Antonio were great and anybody else working there, didn’t have any bad experiences!

Lott is a relatively small property management company, but as a tenant I found them to be responsive and personable whenever I had an issue or concern with the property. Even for unexpected or larger problems, they focused on results instead of trying to get out of taking care of me. I also liked their in-person leasing process. I found them to be one of the better companies to rent from in Greenville, which is an important distinction with how much the cost of living has risen in recent years.

We’re extremely misleading and greedy during the move out process. Affordable housing but make sure you document everything. I’d suggest paying for a professional painter and cleaner or you will end up paying for one anyway.

Lived in a Lott property a few years and they were easy to get along with in the interim. Still, rent at your own peril - they will cut corners to make an extra buck.

Was very disappointed with their service, they took our application fees and then told us they didn't have anything available. This is something we should have been told before paying the application fees, I mean for real what were we applying for if they had no rentals?

I am quite disappointed in the quality of housing Lott will allow tenants to live in. I have been helping two young women in separate townhomes fight bugs and rodents because of lack of care from the owner. Lott tells them the Owner will do no more work on the property. Siding is coming down allowing openings at the roof, banisters on the porches are falling off, and door frames are decaying allowing light to come thru as well as rodents. There are children involved and the mother is working two jobs to make ends meet, and she is told sorry but we can't do anything. The other young lady is afraid to stay in her home because of infestation and has been told there is nothing more you can do. Lott Management do better and fight for your tenants. Fix things the right way and maybe you won't have tenants leaving. Before long the townhomes won't be rentable to anyone on either side. Maybe this post won't make a difference, but I'll continue to help them as best I can as their neighbor who actually gives a damn.

Great experience with Lott Management. Tiffany was fantastic to deal with. She made me feel very welcome and answered any of my questions. When I called the office, she even answered the phone by saying my name, which made me feel right at home. While I didn't end up renting the property available with Lott Management, I was actually considering the property even more because of the wonderful customer service I received. And Antonio was great showing me the property as well. Would recommend them to anyone! Very impressed!
