UPDATE: The response Janek Management provided to this review is fiction. I have over 100 email correspondence between myself and Stefani Duncan or Gary Owens or Carol Benham. Your efforts to demean our community and deflect from irresponsible practices with mention of lack of money is both transparent and shameful!!!

Just NO!! Wasted two years with these guys and returned to our previous management company. These people are completely useless!! They hired some hack to paint exterior doors and interior floors and proceeded to take no responsibility for it. They left our property in worse shape than they found it 🙁

This came from another review and I couldn’t say it better myself..: “No communication with owners, decisions made without people knowing. Don't address ANY issues and concerns of owners.”

I am a Realtor selling a unit that Janek manages and needed many many documents from an overly demanding bank for the sale of a condo. Janek worked tirelessly to get everything we requested in the most timely way possible. Tricia was amazing at responding even when on vacation to help us to get the loan commitment for the buyers. My only complaint that I have are the fees to get documents that owners should have a right to through their monthly condo fee, although in this case, Janek certainly worked for their money. I will not being doing business with this bank ever again. Thank you Tricia!

No communication with owners , decisions made without people knowing. Don't address issues and concerns of owners. I would not recommend Janek for your property very sad to own in such a beautiful community and have Janek running it . Not looking out for the community whatsoever. Beware!

The below response from Janek isn't true I've gotten all emails . Most of there reviews are from vendors or realtor so make sure to read through them . They don't want to face facts . Simple potholes have never been addressed, no schedule for serious things has been laid out, ex ( roofs in future, painting of buildings etc ). A 10 year roof on a building be replaced when others are much older. Alot of excuses with never any answers. Not looking out for the community.

I was impressed with the Janek employees from the start. They have promptly replied to all of my inquiries, via e-mail as well as by phone. They are always courteous and efficient. I submitted one maintenance work request this summer, and it was also taken care of promptly and efficiently. Thanks to Janek and to the maintenance crew!

I am currently living at Chestnut Ridge Condos in Franklin. Janek took over the property management in recent years and they are the best! I have been living here for over 20 years and they do what they say, follow through, and follow up. They communicate everything to all residents and have beautified the property more than I have seen in over 20 years. Kathleen and Stephanie are gems and they are professional, truthful, and do what they say they are going to do in a short period of time. I would recommend Janek to anyone. They are great and they hire great people to do the work!!

Janek is an excellent management company. They are easy to get a hold of, respond quickly and get the job done. I had an issue with my kitchen sink draining properly. Stef took charge of the situation, since it was building based, and the problem was resolved right away. I appreciated that they thoughtfully considered my situation rather than giving me a hard time or not believing me. Stef was respectful and a pleasure to deal with.
