This company has been employed for many years as the property manager for the condo building in which I have been an owner for 11 1/2 years and their service is unacceptable and substandard. They operate as they do, in my view because they feel as if they have something of a monopoly.

They often do not respond to repeated calls and emails during business and non-business hours (when an answering service passes the message to the person "on call.") They select those owners to whom they will respond. They take months to address repairs which they promise to make. I had to pay and fix a leaking bedroom ceiling (a condition that existed for about 5 years) and was finally reimbursed for only some of the repairs and not for the lost revenue since a portion of my unit was rendered uninhabitable for a time.

Also, they do not manage the condo but rather dictate what is to be done and since my condo has only 5 units, a dissenting opinion is ignored. Suggestions for reasonable fixes such as one I made a couple of years ago about having a concrete floor poured over a dirt basement floor (for a nominal cost) was not even acknowledged; recently a moisture/mold problem arose in one unit causing costly repairs, which could be a result of the moisture via the dirt floor. Had my suggestion been considered, perhaps this repair would not have been needed.

Were my voice heard, I would vote to employ another management company, one that listens to all of the condo owners; I am greatly disappointed in their service and would not recommend that other condo buildings employ them.
