Mike Zilli is the best Loan Officer you'd be lucky enough to be referred to. He and his team (special shout out to Joe Marks, who also helped with the process) know their stuff, are friendly, work very hard to get your housing needs rolling, and are just all around good people.

We were initially referred to Mike by a realtor we've worked with in the past, and called again when we saw a home we were interested in. We truly trust anyone she refers us to, and were certainly not disappointed once we opened up communication with Mike Zilli. To give a bit of context, we have been tossing around buying a home for a minute, but were waiting for the right one, and some recent personal issues were driving our desire to relocate. We luckily lost out on what would've been a more semi-permanent living situation for us, much to our happiness now, as our dream, forever home popped up a week later! By then, Mike had set us up for success!

Mike got on the horn with our application and started the process with us over a weekend, while traveling, and helped us every single step of the way from then on. Whenever we had a question, Mike always got back to us at what was seemingly warp speed. We joked at one point that he must not sleep, yet he has this contagious energy that keeps you pumped up and positive through what can be a very stressful time.

We truly believe that we were able to offer, and essentially close, on our forever home due to Mike's knowledge in his field. His insane mathematical skills (he gave us estimates in passing a couple of times, and wound up head on, or slightly under), and he sometimes made me wonder if he missed his calling as a top secret government mathematician, or the person who tells ground control that something is off with this or that, and the mission must be scrubbed at once. Of course these are far-fetched thoughts, but he is THAT good with numbers!

So we got our new home, but we also had to sell a home. We were looking for a ranch home, as a medical issue in our family made the multi-level home we've loved for the better part of a decade, more difficult to love due to stairs. A move wasn't just what was now desired, but also what was suggested by a top Neurologist who encouraged a ADA digs in the near future. Mike helped us through the process of keeping the balance between our new home, and the one we needed to sell. He was able to connect us with an expert at a local credit union who helped us pull our equity to secure our new home. Mike gave us our options, and then we worked with an amazing person he referred us to, outside of Fairway, to secure our heloc. Everyone involved worked as a team, and kept everyone else informed, ensuring a smoother process.

Another fantastic thing about Mike and his team is how tech savvy they are. Buying and selling a home simultaneously, in about a month, causes some stress. Mike helped lessen our mounting workload by offering us virtual appointments, and sending and receiving documents in a safe, secure, and fast manner. Saving us an hour trip one way, each time, truly gave us more time to take a deep breath and finish the tasks we had at hand that didn't involve the financial side of the buying and selling process.

Mike has a zest for what he does. He has a warm personality, is very well spoken, and above all- he's kind. He cares about his clients greatly, like we're one of the reasons he works so hard, day in and day out, to make your home dreams a reality. At our closing, Mike hopped in on crutches, pretty fresh off of a recent surgery, with a big smile, and a very sweet gift. The final documents were all signed, and we all went about our day. For us, it involved going right over to our new home, keys in hand, and opening the door to what will be our planned home, indefinitely.

We're forever grateful for Mike's excellence as our Loan Officer, throughout the entire process. I'd refer anyone who asked for loan help to Mike Zilli in a tachycardia heartbeat. We'll truly miss working with him, but are happy to be home, thanks to Mike Zilli.
