I have a friend that lives out here and I honestly don’t see how he does it! The landlord is the worst part. They get a million letters a week about what they can and can’t do. It’s ridiculous and I’m so glad I don’t reside there. You can’t be outside your own home after 9 pm. You have to tell her who will be staying at your home and how long. Any vehicle that comes up she goes up to them to question them. She makes it seem like she is looking out for you but she is very intrusive! She goes in your home for inspection EVERY single month to criticize your home and to go into your closets. It’s like living under strict supervisions. I heard they have 100 dollar rent increase with this landlord I think is horrible! You’re basically paying for no peace of mind daily and raggedy apartments that haven’t been remodeled in God knows how long. It’s not worth living here, people move out all the time because they can’t deal with the landlord. You can’t complete surveys about the property without their manager telling the landlord the results. Stay away if you love your peace because it’s gone when you move here.

I go to school in Malibu/ LA California for Pre-Law but my grandma used to live here and I stayed some days. I only remember Mrs. Cathy being off putting & Some technical man worker.. but it was nostalgic to go to the YMCA and see the building.

I loved the comfort and safety of living in Pineland Apartments. The rent was more than reasonable. Whenever I had an issue, Mrs. Cathy (the property Mgr) or Mykel (the maintenance tech) made sure it was resolved immediately. Many would say that Mrs. Cathy runs a "tight ship" when it comes to the management of the property but this is what makes the living arrangement so great. Peace and security is not an acquired taste when living here, it is a guarantee. Hats off to the landlord for the amazing community she has created at this apartment complex. It is truly missed!

Nice, clean, quiet area to call home. However, management is ridiculous. They write you up for EVERY LITTLE THING. By the time you move out, your folder will be piled high with minor write ups! There is a curfew, even if you are 35 years old. No one can be outside after 9pm! It doesn't matter if you are smoking or reading a book on your porch. Visitors cannot visit you more than 4 times a week! The manager lives on site and she watches like a hawk! You might as well still be living with your parents if you move out here. There is an inspection once a month. Rent goes up $15 every year. Maintenance never cleans the air filter, but checks off that he does.

I've been a resident at the facility for a year, and some change now; 703 D to be exact. And the apartments are nice. Not the best, but decent and it is a pretty decent area. Minor crimes near by, unruly juveniles, but its a good spot for the most part. What I don't recommend about this place, if you looking to feel/ process of being an adult, laying comfortably at your royal thrown inside your own castle, then this is not where you want to be. Managements stays in and out your place for just about everything. I swear sometimes they live with me. Don't get me wrong but I'm a hard working citizen who has a life where I support myself with a car note, the rent, and other needed miscellaneous obligations. These people, Management, Cathy Johnson, will right you up for a crumb on the floor, the trash not taken out, I mean stuff, like if it bothers you so much you can just ask me to take care of it and then the problem will be solved, why make a brother look nasty to other apartment complexes when it is not true.

One would think that the inspection would be to make sure damages made to the apartment is not going unnoticed, but nooo, its mom and dad 1101 all over again. Your dishes are washed, I seen a trash pile near refrigerator, your toothbrush is wet 😳... So if your a hard worker striding to get a career and not busy trying to learn how to be a house maid or an paying employee for the apartment complex, then I advise you to pick a different location. Because honestly I believe these people dont want to see you own your own home one day. Just saying. Hope this helps someone...

703D should be up for grabs at the end of September/ 2017, because I am out of here, smh.

Me and my girlfriend rented here for 2 years and seemed to be the worst two years ever. The landlord is very nasty with young people that are trying make a living. She seems almost races because I never see her hounding any of the other tenant besides me and my gf. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE!!! if you like privacy DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

I’m giving these apartments a negative review because the landlord is Terrible! I’m surprise the apartment owners still have her working for them. You have no privacy. If I’m paying my hard working money. I should have a piece of privacy. They need to hire someone else!
