Absolute scam. I paid down payment, first month’s rent, and a move in fee for a house that was not ready on move in day like promised. They tell you one thing then go back and tell you another after you’ve already signed a lease. They are very rude and disrespectful on the phone and in person. My property manager claims she’s new and doesn’t have information on anything she always has to get back with me or tells me to call her manager. The manager is almost impossible to get ahold of. Most of their maintenance people are rude as well and will just enter your house, and most the time enter without letting you know they are even on the way. I had this happen multiple times where I woke up to a maintenance worker inside my home.

Deceit and unkept promises is what comes to play when I think of planes investments.

So I got a new job in Vidalia, and wanted to move on my own into my first rental. I moved here from a hour away with 3 full vehicles, and a uhaul not knowing the nightmare ahead… keep in mind they want 775 a month plus renters ins. WITH NO APPLIANCES. Now they are also trying to charge me for court costs.

Me and the property manager had agreed on 2 months to have the house ready on move-in day because it was getting ā€œrenovatedā€ (in other words they painted over the bugs and light fixtures but none of the paint even matches and told me i cant repaint it with the same color).

The house was not ready on move in day AT ALL.

First off- the trailer was leaning HORRIBLY- to the point i was nauseated every morning. it took them over a month to get the house leveled. When all this should’ve been ready on move in day ..
the doors wouldn’t even lock or unlock front or back. Windows busted, which they replaced with plexiglass that bends and pops in bad weather; not to mention none of the windows even open. Hot water didn’t work. Paint all over the floors. No appliances. Water heater was inside of the wall once I finally found it. All the cabinets did not have shelves or cabinet handles. The paneling was halfway removed underneath the house. Under the house was full of trash and leaking pipes. The pipes weren’t even connected to most of the sinks. The sink would just drain straight into the ground. When you flushed the toilet, the water would just POUR out the back onto the bathroom floor. I could go on and on with the MAINTANENCE repairs .. BUT NOW they are overcharging me and charging me for renters insurance when they claim they can’t sell me renters insurance, I asked all my neighbors around me if they have to have renters insurance and they don’t plus their rent is half of what mine is.

I got served with court paperwork today seven days after trying to contact the manager I was told to contact the whole seven days. Literally been a nightmare since I’ve been here. I could go on and on with more unfortunate situations with this company but I’ll leave this here. After reading so many other reviews, I thought I would chime in. I have rented from Planes for 3 1/2 years and it has been the best experience ever. The one major issue I have ever had in this time, they came out and fixed immediately and I was not charged an extra fee. They are definitely far from racist (as I read in one review) as I am white and the minority in my complex. And to the ones complaining about the late fee, it clearly states in the lease that after the 1st, a late fee will be added every day until rent is paid. If the 1st falls on the weekend, you have the option to pay in the online portal. I also read a lot of reviews where individuals had paid the application fee but were not rented a property. You do realize that paying the fee and submitting the application doesn’t mean they have to rent to you.,right? Just like a college application, paying the application fee and submitting the application doesn’t automatically guarantee acceptance into that college. I love my house and don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because some of my neighbors forget that they have neighbors and are extremely loud.

i live in an apt with my boyfriend and a couple months into our lease we were switched to this new management company. we have had to jump through unnecessary hoops and bend over backwards to even receive our lease, they even went as far as threatening to kick us out for not paying rent when they hadn't sent us the lease!!!! everyone we've spoken to has been INCREDIBLY disrespectful and rude, absolutely no manners or hospitality at all. my boyfriend and I have been hung up on pretty much every time we've called. these people are rude and obviously don't care for their tenants at all!! avoid this company like the plague.

Do not ever rent property from this company. They are greedy and do not care about their tenants whatsoever. This is the only company that has ever made me pay for repairs to the unit and old appliances that need to be replaced. The online portal to pay rent has a section where they add repair fees. Some fees are not due until a couple months. The portal does not allow you to pay your rent without also paying the repair fee at the same time. This happened to me where the 1st fell on a weekend, contacted them the following Monday. They refused to take off the late fee that was wrongfully posted as I was literally unable to pay just my rent until they removed they mandatory repair fee that wasn't due for another 2 months.
This is property management team is just horrendous. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to them!

If I can give it no stars I would! This business is a racial profiling establishment with it's nose so far up they can smell the stars up close! Now Tim is the house viewer person and he's the most amazing person but the company itself holds houses hostage for better "privileged" people and gives the black/ brown community members sloppy seconds. The housing they offer are nice but definitely not to the point where you gotta make $9000 a month for a rental requirement of just $750. They LIE to US and say that your income has to be 30% more than the rental amount and even after taxes my husband makes more than that and "our color" didn't qualify even with making more than they required. Application fee is $75 so after being told no they said we could get a guarantor that made over $3500 a month and paid an additional $40 for that application and we were STILL denied saying that instead of being a guarantor we needed to pay and additional fee to make them a cosigner and they had to live in the home. When asked what was the income amount required we were ignored for a while and then simply told the 30% requirement wasn't met. They are very nice nasty and definitely not for ALL people just some of them that can afford to live among them.
