It's a nice little place. Need more shaded bigger peers. And all the huge angry wasp nests plural, lol. That are full a ready to swarm anyone. Get snagged alot not good for using good stuff unless you want to lose it or have to break or cut it. I personally don't like to fish there. Took my kids. We would've rather went to the river.

One of my favorite fishing spots in central Alabama. The lake is filled with bream, catfish and crappie. The owners of the bait shop are kind, helpful and it's well stocked in case you need anything.

We haven't been to Bibb County Lake in years but my grandson wanted to have his 5th Birthday Party there so he could go fishing ? (Even though he has a big lake & a pond on the farm where he lives) We had his Birthday there under one of the pavilions. My grandson caught a fish ? & a turtle ? but no one else caught anyting. We all had a really good time ?

The best place for bass and croupy. The best hot dogs you've ever tasted. And the bass get up to 11 lbs that I've seen. Best fishin place ever. They sell rods bait and tackle. And they have fishin tournaments we placed 2 in catfish tournament. And caught a six pound bass before that. The picture below is me and me six pounder.

The lady at the checkin, bait store, boat rental was so nice and helpful. We didn’t catch much however it’s was one of the hottest days of 2023 so I was expecting to catch much. Plenty of room for bank fishing or fly fishing. All the rental equipment was ready to go and the bathrooms are clean. Nice place for a family or just a couple wanting to fish.
