Rasheed and team in LaGrange will NOT communicate with you. Begged/harassed us for the deposit reassuring us everything will work out, no matter what. Then the communication was near to nothing.We turned in all income documentation, multiple times, to only be denied by 2 of their "preferred lenders" because I was short a couple thousand on income - this was for
$314k house, when originally I was pre-approved for $384k, laughable right? Just a school teacher trying to purchase a home for my family. They even got as far as letting us complete the orientation on the house (which was a joke) - the quality guy was vaping through the orientation and the builder had the inside of the home so taped up that it should have never been released as "ready" - exterior included! Oh yeah, you put in a garage but not the door opener? Ohh.. the money went towards these ridiculous smart toilets...Now trying to get our deposit of $2,500 back is a nightmare. Nobody wants to talk now.... they took that money QUICK but returning it is not so easy. Jokes on me for not reading the reviews earlier. Also I am FIRST TIME HOME BUYER and now I am truly terrified to go through the process again because of the terrible experience dealing with Liberty's "LACK OF"....

Beware of this builder and the warranty they claim you get for a year !!! Get a professional inspection by your own inspector you trust ! Don’t close till all repairs are made . We closed on our house June 2023 . We was so excited . It has turned in to a nightmare . We had an Orientation the Friday Before we closed, it was a young guy that walked us through really fast. We saw a lot of cosmetic issues we had a painter walking around with us I forgot to mention we were not allowed to have our real estate agent or anybody with us. I don’t know if this was the norm since we were first time homebuyers so we did not know what to expect. We did see many cosmetic issues that we brought up and told them and we did not fill out a piece of paper. We just told the orientation guy and he related to the builder, we was told it be fixed before closing when at the lawyers office we was asked to please sign it was already done because they couldn’t close with any open request and that the builder would be by to repair them. They did come repair a couple of things but left off quite a few, then after coming into the house, we realize the LED mirrors one of them had been dropped and cracked on the corner and did not work. I contacted the selling agent immediately she said to put it in the portal. I put it in the portal then she called me back and said the builder had ordered the mirror I later found out they said it was not covered and I could not get a new mirror. This would’ve been a cheap fix to help us feel better about our new home. we begin to find the bigger problems, so I paid for a professional inspector The inspector they found many problems, many major problems. I had no air conditioner flow to one of my bedrooms. My doors were not secure the air was leaking out. I had erosion to the foundation ( still have erosion to foundation of our home. The framing of our front door was cracked and not secure. These are just a few of the major not to make this review too long I was told by the builder that the corrosion of my foundation was in standards because there’s metal rods also I was told the yard wasn’t graded properly by the professional inspector r and the water is sitting on the foundation of the house and that is why the house is deteriorating already, and this was only two months after being built, the AC people came out for my sons room. The air is not ran properly to that room. All they did was have me shut off one of the vent in my bedroom, so we still have a room without good airflow. It took them months to get me a new door and when they did they put it in wrong and they messed up our storm door I paid for it don’t shut now and they only put one coat of paint it looks horrible and they got paint all on our floors on the inside . We did have somebody come out when we first got the house and look at the siding. The person found that the right side of our house framing was Bowing after much argument they came out repaired and replaced wood on the right side of my home, then not long after we find out, we have no hot water to our kitchen and one of our toilets is not flushing the plumber comes out and rig my toilet with the rubber band and an after many times are coming out and not fixing our hot water, they say we need to pay for a pump to get hot water to our kitchen. All of this is within standards to the builder . We now have Bowing of the framing on the front of our home and Southern exterior the siding people that helped me before and let me know that the right side of my home was Boeing are told they can no longer talk to me or give me the report but they have a contract with the builder as all the vendors that built the home they are not allowed to speak with me or give me the report , I have been asking for the report on my home from builder and Southern exterior and I’m just told that it is Bowing but is within standard.Their standards are very low and the warranty does not cover much. What do they have to hide not to send me the report ?

The floor plans are nice. It’s hard to find a good quality 5 bedroom home in the upstate that isn’t super high in pricing. Liberty homes has delivered a 5 bedroom house with beautiful designs and a well laid out floor plan. However the homes could offer garbage disposal and garage door opener as a standard feature that most homes include. I love the home and location otherwise. The painting company used could do a better job; the painting is below average in my opinion as there are areas that needed to be sand down and the paint rubs off when the wall is touched. As with any home new or old there will be defects as nothing is 100%. The seller agent I worked with was Jan Yhap, and he was professional, kind, responsive, and communicated regularly. He kept me updated every week on the home which eased the anxiety of being a first time home buyer. The process from touring the model to closing was seamless. The team from the builder, preferred mortgage lender, to the closing attorney company work was great. I have no complaints in that area. I closed on time even with material delays and bad weather. This is the type of experience that all first time home buyers seek and that builds loyalty for the future.

Overall GREAT experience!!!
To start my husband and I were both first time homeowners of New construction home, and there was certainly a lot of things to learn about the process. Ms TK. did an amazing job of walking us through all of the many nuances of buying a new construction home, and providing a realistic perspective of what we could expect in our process and beyond!

One of the things that she did a great job of explaining was the prefabrication process and how this is the method that NEW builders use for consistency and efficiency of constructing homes. This helped to understand how homes are built as quick as they are!

In the excitement of exploring our new home once everything was built, There were some minor imperfections that were overlooked on our part however, when we alerted the team with Liberty builders they made sure to come over right away to address and correct those issues.

We closed over the summer, and there was a major issue with our AC unit. However, this gave us the opportunity to experience how their warranty department would perform and they DID NOT disappoint. We were able to contact them after hours where they assisted us with the temporary fix and then they sent a technician out two days later to permanently correct the issue.

Overall our experience with Liberty Home builders has been incredible and even with the issues we did experience, it was refreshing to see their quick response time, attention to our needs, and ability to make things right! We truly appreciate and have been enjoying our home and can’t wait to grow and pay this bad boy off LOL!

I wanted to express my satisfaction with Liberty Communities and thank the following: Najja Nicholson who first introduced us to the floor plan we wanted at River Walk Farms but it was not available to view completed. So, being the professional he is, he asked if we minded driving to one of their other subdivisions so we could see the finished product. We did and we loved what we saw. That brings us to Jeanette Frazier who was the agent at the new subdivision Najja took us to (The Enclave at Dial Farms) . She was very helpful and did not mind walking the subdivision with us to show us all it offered (she even introduced us to some of the neighbors). After visiting the subdivision 3 days in a row with my wife and different family members we opted on the floor plan we originally liked and was offered an excellent promo rate as well. Fast forward to about 30 days and today we had our what is typically a walkthrough (blue tape) inspection but was called our 'Orientation" which was facilitated by the builder Alex (did not get his last name) and Jaiden (quality control; did not get his last name either).. When I tell you they were very detailed in not only explaining how everything worked in our home but also identified the cosmetic things that had to be addressed (my wife is VERY attention to detail on these type of things and pointed out a lot; they marked and accommodated every single request). The professionalism and excellent customer service manner put them on a higher level than other walkthroughs I have been to (I'm a licensed real estate agent). Now, I can't speak from some of the negative things I've seen on here, but I have learned to share the highs as well and this experience has been at an all time high for my wife and I.
