They are truly overpriced for major repairs, plus giving quotes without thoroughly cleaning underneath the vehicle to be able to diagnose accurately.

I took my car to a very knowledgeable auto repair shop in Atlanta off piedmont..

Let’s just say! Their quote of $3600. Was insane!

My Jeep was repaired for $1800 my engine light has now been turned off.

Calavan will never see me again! Not even for an oil change.

As soon as I pick up my vehicle on Wednesday I shall add the picture of the finalized work.
Also no quote on the axle leak, but you will notice another $186 charge for another diagnostic.. hmmmm

Also price was $206.12, I noticed another 3percent credit card charge. $212.30 hidden fee..

So I visited this location bright and early on Saturday morning of 4/6/2025 for service. I was assigned to James and expressed to him that I needed to have an oil change, 4wheel alignment and 4 tires/4rims mounted and balanced. In total, I was quoted a figure of $375. $149 for alignment, $28 per tire mount and $92 for oil change. I’m a returning customer and asked why did the price of the oil change go up. James told me that the prices for the service just went up. I was then told that my vehicle would be available in 2-3hrs. About 40mins later, I got a call from James. He told me that my tires needed valve stems at $92 a tire. Of course I was floored and asked James if that was the best he could do and to explain to me what that part was. He told me that the valve stems are responsible for allowing air into the tire. I told James that I needed to speak with family about the matter because obviously I wasn’t prepared for an additional $368 expense. I then called James back and asked if he could transfer the used valves onto my new wheels. James gave me two option, either they would break or leak air if they were to do that. He then told me that the tech didn’t feel comfortable transferring the valves. I grew frustrated with James and Calavan because I wasn’t provided any other options. No proposed payment options for this service were provided at all. I eventually had to tell James that I wasn’t prepared to do the extra $368. He then told me that they’d already completed the oil change and that once they packed my vehicle with my tires/rims, they’d advise. I received a text message about my vehicle being ready for pick up shortly afterwards. Once I arrived back to Calavan, James was nowhere to be found even after I requested him. I ended up paying the $92 for the oil change and left. James sorta left me out to dry and didn’t close out the service with me today. We didn’t discuss any discrepancies that were possibly identified or anything. Thankfully, my family and I were able to locate a tire business who were able to get the job done at a fraction of the price. Wheels & Tires By Bailey handled me with care and guaranteed there work. Overall, Calavan broke my heart today. I was met with price gouging and poor customer service. No payment options were discussed, no coupons or discounts offered for the oil change (as a frequent customer), or anything to secure the service today. Sadly, I may not be returning to Calavan.
