Wonderful place to reside, or consider residing. Clean, extremely aesthetically pleasing inside and out. Leasing staff is HIGHLY professional, kind, and quick with what they do. I worked with Alice, specifically, in the leasing office and she was AMAZING. She was so helpful and informative, her excitement for me throughout the process only made me more excited for the move. Great place, great staff.

Yadira was a huge help on the move-in process. She had welcoming energy and provided me with all the information needed. Nothing as far as pricing, concerns was a surprise to me because everything was thoroughly walked through upon being a future resident to an actual resident. The community is nice and the leasing office holds fun events for the community on holidays and things of that sort.

I would like to appreciate the Wesley Hampstead Apartment Community with 7 years of outstanding customer service and support to me. I moved in October 2017 and have been here since my move-out date February 25, 2025. Michelle has been more than an excellent property manager but also a friend any issue I’ve had concerning the property or personal concern her door was always open. The maintenance team is like no other I personally thank Anthony, Tony and Paul for always responding to any issue within the apartment in a professional and timely manner. This is a bittersweet post as I close out my chapter in Atlanta and welcome a new one in another state. I would recommend these apartments to anyone that ask about places to rent that’s affordable and just 30mins away from all inner city entertainment. Never did I have a problem with my packages being stolen, break-ins or rude neighbors. I rate Wesley Hampstead a 10/10! Best wishes to all current and future residents!

TLDR: This apartment building is decent until they aren't. Poor management and subpar maintenance make it hard to recommend living here to begin with. A forged move-out inspection document ruined it for me otherwise.

My fiance and I lived here for a seven month lease from the summer through to early spring while she worked in Atlanta. We rented the apartment from a distance as we were driving down later and there were challenges getting the rental paid for the initial amount but nothing too terrible. Once we moved in we were greeted with a dishwasher that did not work and a poorly cleaned apartment (noted on the move-in form). It took maintenance roughly 6 weeks to finally replace the dishwasher after they swapped it twice and flooded both the apartment below and my own through incorrect fittings and a faulty unit they installed.

Once we were nearing the end of our time in the Atlanta area we did not renew the lease and opted to complete a move out inspection with a staffmember. We setup a time to meet them in our apartment the friday before our lease was up to give the apartment back early. It took the staffmember 2.5 hours after our meeting time to call us thinking we were meeting them there. Once they finally came to the apartment we went through the walk through and the paper was noted that every room in the apartment was "good". After this was noted we each signed the paperwork to note that this was complete and we handed over the keys.

One month later we receive our deposit back with a photocopy of the move out inspection showing that they added additional notes to the already signed document justifying a withholding of $25 from our deposit for a dirty oven. Now I have attempted to call them for over three weeks and I only get offers for the property manager to call me back or my call gets completely ignored. The property manager called me once, 4 hours later while I was at work and did not answer when I returned that call.

I have to say living here for 9 years now. This is one of the best Communities. In Douglas County if you are looking for a place to call home. I really appreciate the maintenance staff as well. They are always polite and courteous and will to go the extra mile. The Office Management/Staff are very supportive and keep you abreast on Community Affairs and Events

Alice was beyond amazing with assisting me with a package that was delivered to the wrong unit. She did not hesitate to contact the other party for assistance and even went to the unit in 30 degree weather to retrieve my package! Upon entry of the Wesley Hampstead leasing office I was greeted by Alice and Michelle who were very polite and friendly! They offered great information about the Wesley Hampstead community! Needless to say I will be leasing with them soon! Thank you ladies!

Pros: lots of space, lots of parking, in a relatively good area for entertainment and shopping. Price point not terrible. ($1610's for 1500 sqft 3bd-2ba)

Cons: Michelle, the office manager. Unprofessional, rude, generally disinterested in helping residents. Also, lack of maintenance staff. "Base" level apartments are very aged, no ceiling lights in living room or bedrooms. Cabinets ghastly. Pest control service they use barely sprays for insects and seems like they could care less about their job.

I moved here a couple months ago from a different Wesley property and it is like night and day. We never had an issue with getting in touch with the office or management, maintenance was always getting things done within a 1-2 day window for basic things. Here it is a fight to get anything done, they only have 3 people on staff! Apartments were worth what you were paying. I miss having and internal an external lock for security. These doors have one flimsy lock and the door is not heavy - super easy to kick in if someone was even slightly motivated.

At Wesley Hampstead, it seems the only ones that care about doing their job properly are the leasing agents. Yadira specifically is always such a big help. We have windows crumbling - literally the wall is crumbling - from the lack of sealant, the caulking all over the apartment is cracked and they are refusing to re-do it, there are soft spots in the flooring all around the apartment that they are refusing to fix the subflooring, so just waiting for the day one of us falls into the apartment below us, they did the landlord special and painted over dead bugs and business cards, absolutely nothing was clean in the apartment prior to move in and they left it that way. The only thing new was the carpet.

There are so many different apartment complexes nearby that I would honestly recommend over moving here just off Michelle alone. She gets a 0/10 and needs severe re-training on how to deal with residents in a professional manner. Wesley Corporate, if you see this, please please please retrain her.
