Rendezvous Property Management is best in class on Tybee Island!

We stayed at a lovely property of theirs between Christmas & New Years and they were great from start to finish despite it being the holiday season.

Clear communication throughout, excellent house near the beach that was squeaky clean & well appointed. All the necessary kitchen items + a few extra you wouldn’t expect. (Tip of the hat for proving a cooking thermometer!)

Even the bedding was great. My mother, who was staying with us, messaged me & asked to see what brand the sheets were because they were so soft!

They even had all the beach equipment, chairs, kids toys, etc, you would need to enjoy the beach only a short walk away.

They also provide a golf cart rental service, so all in one location we were able to book our stay & reserve a golf cart that was waiting for us when we arrived, fully charged & ready to go.

Can’t say enough good things about Rendezvous Properties. Book with confidence with this company!

Changing my review as I have since heard back from the management company. My original messages/calls to the rental company were somehow unseen, but upon hearing the concerns with the unit we stayed in, the rental company called and apologized and then fixed or replaced the broken items and offered us a partial refund. Appreciate the customer service and fixing what was wrong. Thanks.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
We had a disappointing stay in one of their vacation rental units in Tybee Island. While there were several items broken and stained in the unit, the most concerning were:
1. Not responding to concerns that were raised via multiple texts, emails and calls - I ended up remedying one of the issues myself with my own money.
2. False advertisement of the number of bedrooms in the unit - advertised as a 5 bedroom when really only had 4 bedrooms (there were beds in a public living space that they consider a "5th bedroom").

I chose to give 3 stars because the building itself was in a great location, had some nice amenities, allowed for an early check in/late check out, and they stocked the kitchen and disposables better than most rentals do.

But to never return a single call, text or email regarding broken items in the unit (coffee maker, trundle bed, etc.) and to falsely describe the bedroom situation is very disappointing.

Our family rented number 3 and 7 and they were perfect for our beach vacation. 5 minute walk to beach, every morning we made coffee and walked to park/playground that's right out of the front door with the kiddos, it's clean and comfortable. This year we had a couple of things pop up with maintenance needed as any home could but Collin responded kindly and promptly to get the issues resolved. Appreciate having such a unique, fun place as a home base for our vacation.

Apartment listed as pet friendly, when we first moved in with our pets they suddenly got fleas. They do not treat the exterior for fleas, just termites. Every pest inside is by contract your problem to deal with and im fine with that as I’ve already had pest control come and spray, treated my pet externally and internally with flea treatment. However my pet is still getting fleas after several months of this. Ive asked Anna about having the outside treated to only receive an answer that wasn’t even to my question. IF YOU HAVE PETS DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH FLEAS.

Recently rented this house. Tybee Tonic was the perfect beach cottage for our group. Large open kitchen (tons of counter top space), big eating area and plenty of living room seating.. Both screened in porches and the pool were a hit with everyone. Plenty of beds and a pullout sleeper sofa too. Property management was very responsive to questions that we had. An "A plus" rental!! Would rent again for sure.

The pictures are not current. This place is in bad repair. We booked it specifically for the fenced in backyard and proximity to the ocean. The location to ocean is fantastic and that is about the only good I can say. We took our two dogs and toddler grandchild was along with our family. There is no longer grass in the fenced in yard. There is a pool that was recently installed. Not a safe yard for our toddler at all. Construction debris from pool install, brick pavers laying loose, water in pool and not covered. Swing in pics on the ground. No grass for dogs to go potty. Unusable for us. The upper level stunk like fish. The tv in the bedroom is broken and won’t sit straight. You had to practically kick in the gate to get in. The beds were super uncomfortable. The furnishings are WORN. Shower door in one of the bathrooms wouldn’t completely close. We called to cancel due to the backyard not being what the pics said it would be. We stayed one night. I was told I would get a certain refund amount. Instead they first double charged me. Then they didn’t refund the amount I was told I would be receiving even though I asked exactly what the charge would be and it was confirmed. I never got a detailed invoice even when I asked as it seems like the price increased after I booked it. I could go on and on.

We had a wonderful time at the Barricks. It was a very quiet and safe area, kids could play outside without worrying about roads or traffic. Yet the place was so close to all kinds of activities. The rooms were big and spacious. I thought it was a wonderful idea to preserve the building in a way we can still see the history. Beautiful place and area for a family vacation.
