We were supposed to have met with a realtor,
Emily Rhoads, to look at a house. went
online and made this appt. at 3:36pm and
choose the prefered time given to me which
was 6pm. We arrived at the house early and
waited for for Her. We were excited to talk to
Her about this house, which could have been
a cash purchase. She texted me at 5:40 pm
telling me She could not meet us. My time is
as valuable as Hers. Itexted back telling Her
20 minutes ahead of appt. time was not
sufficient enough time to cancel, that I am
still interested in the house, however, I will
use a different Realtor. This to me is
unacceptable and may have just cost the
Owner of the Home a sale, which has been on
the market for a few years. I know the man's
name on the deed and may call Him and let
Him know. I'm not putting down Stockdale
Realty; Weve had no dealing with them other
than this and wish them luck.

Tracy Deck represented the potential buyers of my home. There was a contingency that the purchase of my home would come from the sale of their home. My plans to relocate fell through, and when I asked to mutually terminate the contract, Tracy's responses were extremely threatening and unprofessional to the point of bullying. She made rude remarks to my agent to relay to me and started emailing demands with options to either pay her buyers $20,000, be sued (she listed multiple things I would be sued for and wrote "she's complaining about $20,000, that's nothing compared to what she's gonna owe after my buyers finish suing her" She even went as far as to write the court will order me to complete the sale as if she would know what a judge would order) or close on the sale. Feeling extremely threatened, I agreed to pay the $20,000 and started the refinance process for Tracy to send another email reneging on that option and saying either sell her buyers my house or be sued. At that point, I sought legal advice and was advised to let them sue me.
She then emailed saying she never got the email agreeing to pay the buyers out of the contract, although she had emailed a response the same day, and that they will accept the $20,000 and asked that I bring the money to closing. My decision was already made, and I had no intention of reapplying to refinance or selling. As I stated earlier, the buyer's purchase was contingent on the sale of their home. My agent, Tracy, and her buyers showed up to closing, and I did not. They were there several hours, according to my agent. Later that evening, my agent received an email from Tracy's firm advising that the sale of the buyer's home did not close prior to our scheduled closing and asking for an extension, which I promptly denied. They never mentioned this to my agent the hours they sat at the closing waiting on me. I'm not sure what their motivation was, but that absolutely should have been mentioned, even before going to the closing. Although I can not prove it, I believe they were hoping to get the $20,000 payout to terminate my sale. This was the worst experience, and it resulted in my experiencing a mental health crisis.
Tracy came across as an unprofessional, unethical bully. In the end, I kept my house and my money. Shame on Tracy and her buyers. I'm glad this nightmare is over, and it ended in my favor!
