Great place to live. Nice water areas your can fish from.

I moved here in 2013. The place was beautiful and I could ride my bike frequently. However over the past 5 years it has become very uncomfortable living here because people fail to put leash on their dogs and keep them in. Another problem I face is that whenever I get neighbors with dogs my back yard becomes so smelly because they fail to clean the dog mess and after all they put the dog house next to my backyard fence where I walk daily since my backyard is my exercise ground. In addition, the community pool and fall are often out of operation and no governance of people who come to the pool from other neighborhoods. The best thing about the neighborhood is that it is usually quiet. I really cannot wait to move though. I cannot stand neighbors who don’t clean their filthy dog house.

I've been living here a little over a year... At first, I thought it was quiet and going to be a beautiful place to live until my husband's next orders. Nosey people surround me, mostly military wife's who are staying at home moms... (not knocking them because I am an army wife), but I do get up and go to work. Some were very friendly, others, not so much. Neighbors make false reports and allegations; it's like they have their clique of some sort. I'm originally from Miami, so of course, it was a significant adjustment for me. If everyone stays in their lane and sweeps in front of their front door, so to speak, it will be a better community to live in. I'm currently looking to move, and I can't wait. Until then just leaving it in the hands of the Lord and praying the this community treat everyone equal and how they would like to be treated.

I Love Griffin Park there are so many Beautiful Homes there.The is a Swimming Pool there's a park for children,and adults One would find Griffin Park to be a great neighborhood &,the lawns here are well kept.

We moved here in May of last year, it's quite a peaceful neighborhood, and sometimes I find myself enjoying the quaintness of the near carbon copy houses. I've lived in Ohio for my entire life, so save for vacations, that's practically all I have to compare it to.
The environment is phenomenal, with it being rather out of the way, there is very little light pollution and I get a great view of the stars from my backyard. There are quite few lakes and ponds in the area, however I haven't tested to see if they are casually fishable (catch and release kind), however it is a calming sight some days. The large forest surrounding the area means lots of wildlife, such as frogs near the lakes/ponds, snakes, birds, and coyotes. The amount of bugs isn't annoying, so long as you clean up after any dogs you may have. The snakes aren't a problem if you know what kinds there are and can keep any of your animals safe from them, especially smaller ones (the same goes for coyotes and predatory birds).
There is a community playground and pool, the former is rather small however the latter is very decently sized, but I haven't been up close and personal with it just yet, so that's just at an eye's glance. We haven't had any problems with neighbors so far (noise, dangerous experiments, etcetera), save for one freak accident when an unknown assailant ran into a curb with their car and damaged another neighbor's mailbox and trash can.
To my knowledge the development does not recycle, otherwise I believe we certainly pay the money to do so, as it's obviously environmentally friendly given the circumstances, and would allow for better management of our waste. Currently there is construction going on close to one of the main roads, but it seems to be far enough from the rest of the houses to not be irritatingly noisy, and this also means more homes will be available later in the year.
This is definitely a place I'm glad to live, rent is about one and-a-half thousand dollars per month for a one floor, open concept, four bedroom, two bathroom house with a decent yard, two car garage, and fenced backyard.
Now for the town, there are two roads connecting the establishment the a main road to the rest of Hinesville, it's about two miles until you hit all of the fast food joints, but the whole area is completely peppered with various stores, probably due to the city housing a military fort, and it's great. You have everything within driving distance, and it's pretty fair for walking/biking as well, although walking is a bit more tedious in my experience. There is practically any kind of common restaurant you can think of, and many of them that you'd expect to deliver do. There are at least three different grocery stores in the area; Kroger, Food Lion, and Walmart. It has about everything you would need store wise, and we tend to order anything not food related online, save for materials for building projects. I believe one of my roommates gets their material from a Lowes in the area, however I'm not precisely sure.
In conclusion, the development is the better of the two I've been in, mostly because of the stricter regulations of the other, pair that with everything else within reach, and I find this a great place to have moved to.
