We recently moved to a different side of town and are new to Athens real estate group. All I can say is WOW. Athens real estate group has done a great job helping us resolve routine maintenance issues that come with any house rental. They were quick to respond to our concerns and had maintenance crews out promptly to resolve our problems as soon as possible. Not only this they personally handled a discrepancy with the water company that attempted to bill me for a busted line that wasn’t on our property. Let me give you an example of what really surprised me. We moved into an older house with well water. We noticed when we moved in there was a metal plate covering most of what appeared to be a large hole in the front yard and when we opened it up to see what it was we found a 30+ foot deep hole we can only assume is a very old well that went dry. I reached out asking if there was something I could buy and place over top of this to secure it better as I have a toddler that will soon be running through the yard and they said they would handle it and get back to me. Within TWO days they had someone pouring concrete to fill the hole without me asking to do anything that drastic. I was happily surprised and thankful how quickly they handled my concerns. I can’t recommend this leasing company enough.

Housing in Athens can be such a difficult thing to navigate but Athens Real Estate Group has helped me in more ways than one! As a current student at the University of Georgia, I recommend them to any current or upcoming students that may be looking for places to stay now or for the next school year. The person that I talked with (I believe her name was Emily) was so helpful with different suggestions and opinions on what would best suit my wants and needs! The entire place is so helpful during the leasing and move-in process but also after you get settled into your space. I really appreciated that!

When I first moved in, I noticed most of the neighborhood had their garbage bins on the curb throughout the week. The property manager took action to enforce the bins be taken in after garbage collected and it’s so much better! I enjoy walking the neighborhood without all the bins.

Although we’ve had a few maintenance issues, they are quick to respond! Our washer flooded the house but emergency maintenance came quickly to help us and got a new washer within days. We were very grateful!

Our washing machine was messing up and they sent someone out that day and got us a brand new washing machine in less than a week! I couldnt recommend any company more!

I cannot comment on AREG’s other properties, but Bridgewater is GREAT! The neighborhood is also pretty affordable compared to many other housing options in Athens. Also, management has put a lot of work and effort into making the neighborhood look even nicer this past year with enforcing trash roller cart regulations. If you’re looking for a quiet, homey neighborhood with a great maintenance team, look no further!

Their maintenance team is efficient and and makes sure you have a properly equipped home. I've rented from them for eighteen months.
