Wow! Melissa Williamson is a miracle worker. We had to find a house in two weeks and she not only found a house for us but it was the house we have been searching for! We had been looking for three years until we called her. Seven days later we found it. Melissa Williamson sold a house for us and then helped us through the process of buying a house that was for sale by the owner. These transactions took place in Georgia while we were living in Arizona, so Melissa really helped us a lot and did things beyond the call of duty that we could not do since we were out of state. I loved the description of our house that Melissa wrote for the website---she totally got what was special about our house. She recommended people for us to hire in fixing up our house for sale---individual at the carpet store, house cleaner, electrician, handyman---and all of them were excellent. Her recommendations of a house inspector, a lawyer for both closings, and a surveyor (to reconcile different property lines on different plats) were top notch. We were very pleased with these people and their work. A few years later, we were selling a house when a family crisis abroad necessitated that I leave the country unexpectedly, the day before closing. Melissa was able to keep the sale in motion, including arranging at the last minute for my husband to become my power of attorney for the sale and dealing with the less-than-accommodating buyers and their realtor. The house closed on time, thanks to Melissa!

In addition, Melissa is a very personable and easy person to work with. She is honest and up front about everything, including issues it may be difficult to face. Also, she was good at explaining things I didn't understand about real estate and legal requirements. We totally trusted her and felt we were in good hands and that she was on our side during all negotiations. I plan to call on Melissa for any and all our real estate needs in Athens in the future. She is a gem, and I highly recommend her!
