Absolutely horrible broker. I recently bought a house through them and the entire experience was aweful on their part. I arrived at the house to do a final walk through on the morning of closing and the tenant that was supposed to be out weeks before was just informed by Barbara a few hours before i got there that she had to be moved that day. during the final walkthrough we discovered that many repairs that were supposed to be done before closing were not done along with new damage done by the tenant moving. we had to have an agreement written that Barbara and the previous owner would have all the repairs finished by the next week, none of which were done by the deadline, and because the attorney “forgot” to put a deadline in the agreement, there is nothing i can do. This woman is a snake in the grass only concerned with her own benefit.

Our landlord was wonderful but he used Barker as his management company. When we moved out they charged us to repaint a wall that the owner had given permission to paint and ignored the fact that the entire house had needed a fresh coat of paint when we moved in three years earlier. They also wanted to charge us for "light cleaning" even though we had cleaned everything, top to bottom, even shining the wood floor just before locking the doors for the last time. UPDATE: Barker did not charge us for the services I disputed. We received a check for the balance of the deposit almost two months after we moved out. I could have saved money by hiring my own landscapers to detail the yard. The ones Barker hired were expensive. They did not charge for repainting what I had permission to paint and they did not charge me for clean-up since I had cleaned the place top to bottom indoors.

This is a horrible Realty Company!! If you see their signs posted in a yard in your neighborhood, then you must know that they rent out to rude college students that do not take care of the yard or house and will throw loud parties with people yelling in the streets. They will only write the renters a letter when you call and complain. They will not call them or apologize to you for the disruption. As a matter of fact, they will treat you like you are bothering them for complaining. This company needs to be run out of town!
