Great place I went to a workshop for housing for credit Great people with great personalities and Good helpful staffs i ride my 🚲 It was worth it for the knowledge I received Ms Tracey and The Director Everybody was knowledgeable on the panel

The staff cares and they are patient, helpful and kind.
This place also offers all sorts of classes and give aways and they have a good pantry.
You just have to go see all the things they offer, its a hidden gem.

I would just like to stop in my footsteps and leave an accommodating review, as I'm grateful for one of the supervisors stopping in their footsteps with flexibility in accommodating my request.

Now I must say I've lived in Clayton county almost all of my life, 30 plus years.
After the pandemic it got a little haywire and unorganized at the local office but when I say there's a small team of silent angels who have been on the roster for years who are doing their diligence to the community, overextending care, concern and time to help the program run as smoothly as possibe, I really mean it!!!!

Being a single special need mother to of two medically fragile, terminally ill and completely disabled, homebound children the application process has always been very accommodating **(HOMEBOUND clients) but as we know every year rules and regulations change and we must be patient with the new process.

After Overhearing the frustration from a few (new and old clients) standing in line I had to throw in my two panties *(my opinion, that is, lol).....
By time I was done explaining a little economics and how our local community action agencies in Clayton county work I think I put a few people at ease....

Ms Chestnut is one of the employees that I know goes well above and beyond her profession. She is sassy & sweet but very professional & stick to rules at all times.
Thanks for extending your help with my registration process for I greatly appreciate your time and effort.
If You come in for services calm, cool and with a little sympathy for the dedicated workers over there I promise it'll make the process much easier for you and future clients.

I give this place 1 star. I've been trying to get an appointment for over 2 years. The website says this date or that date to make an appointment. What a joke. I went to the website on the date and all the slots were filled. I tried calling to seek answers and no one answers. It's a shame they have false advertisements and empty hopes of helping people who need it.

The communication of this place is terrible! The only reason why I gave two stars was because after my persistence or desperation of TWO MONTHS, I FINALLY got two bills paid. That was it. I tried to get rental assistance, they denied me because I lived in a duplex with the landlord. By the time the denied me I was three mobths behind!! I tried to get assistance for GA power after they said funds would be available in January, they told me I would have to apply in May and only paid my gas bill. I even tried to help myself and take the EKG and Phlebotomy classes that was offered, NOBODY responded and the classes came and went! The sad part is that this is the ONLY place I've been able to find in Clayton County that has "available funds" and they STILL are barely helpful! Its very frustrating and I wish the state would start regulating places like this better.

I make 15k annually, with a child and one on the way and STILL couldn't get help. Do NOT count on them!! This place is a joke.

I have been calling and email with no response. At this point, it’s no use to keep reaching out. This is the first time I’ve read the reviews and I can’t say that I’m surprised. Whoever run this place can easily say on the website that there are no funds available. Which I don’t understand because Dekalb, Fulton and Clayton just received millions of funding a month ago. When it’s not their households there isn’t a sense of urgency to help.
