I am HIGHLY disappointed in the City of Barnesville Water Department!! I called at 4:10 to check on why our water was shut off. And no this was not due to non payment. They informed me that someone would go out and check on it. 1 hour later, there was still no one at our house. I called the Fire Department, because now it was after hours. I informed them that we have no water, and we don't know why. I told him it had been an hour since i called it in. He said "oh they probably forgot". Why doesn't that surprise me. We wait another 30 min, then my husband calls back and they said that someone called into the city to report a water leak at our house. They came out and shut off the main supply. We were NOT notified by a phone call or even a simple little note informing us of what had happened. you would think they would take the time out to at least put a little effort into their job. We wasted all that time trying to find out what the heck was going on, when in fact we could of been out to Home Depot getting the stuff to fix it. So now we are going to be without water until we can get this fixed, because of course this falls on us now to fix. This is just absolutely ridiculous.
