Braun property management has been nothing but helpful in my moving in process and when needing assistance. They had around the clock security when i first moved in to my apartment since i was the first one who moved in to the apartment building and they made sure i felt secure and safe. Becky, The property manager has been a great help when i have any questions or concerns and ALWAYS gets back to me super quick with great communication.

Rude, unprofessional, and a bully who will gaslight you into submission. That’s my experience renting from Braun Property Services owner Paul T. Villaluz Weubbe. Don’t let it happen to you.

As background, Paul was previously with Laughton Property Management, which I wouldn’t recommend either. Roughly a year into renting, my rent was increased, and the property was transferred to the company Paul created. A one-page document was taped to the front door, and was the only communication concerning this transfer. I thought it was fake or a scam, as there was no phone call, text, email, or any other credible communication concerning the change.

During my two years living in the apartment, there were several plumbing and other maintenance issues that remain unresolved. When water came into the building, the maintenance guy showed up to caulk from the inside. When water from the tub backed up and the shower was unusable, Paul didn’t follow up with the plumbers or myself. A week later, a neighbor in the same complex went nearly a week without hot water.

I could go on, but I’ll tell you what happened when I decided to move: Paul was rude on the phone, in person, and in every other form of communication you can imagine. He yelled, spoke over me, told me I didn’t read documents, and contradicted himself and his own documents when I asked for a pre-move out inspection. He didn’t provide it, BTW, and told me it wasn’t required in so many words.

He took half my deposit even though I paid professional cleaners after vacating. He sent indiscernible, black-and-white photos of areas that were damaged prior to my tenancy. I’ve lived in many places throughout my adulthood and know what to do upon moving out. I have never had half my deposit withheld.

At this point it’s a wash with the money. But potential tenants should know to watch out, given this is the type of person your hard-earned money could go toward, and then some.

And I’m sure Paul or someone at Braun will respond to this review by picking it apart in an attempt to discredit me. Don’t buy it, and don’t believe the fake positive reviews left here by his staff.

Don’t believe Paul. Don’t trust him or rent from him. He’ll take your money and blame you.

The property manager is extremely rude. I went by one of their properties not realizing they have multiple and decided to switch my application to a bigger apartment for myself and my grandfather the woman Becky called me and kept asking me if I was lying about who was going to be living there and giving threats about how if she finds out I’m lying it’ll be harder for me to find somewhere else. I was getting racial and prejudice vibes from the start. They denied our application even though the combined income was way more that 3x the rent and both having perfect rental history. When I called to speak to the manager for clarification he kept cutting me off raising his voice and over talking me. I’m not sure why they assumed I would lie maybe it was after they saw my skin tone in person because the tone before meeting In Person was definitely different.
