They are jerks they throw away are application just because we look to nice for them. the person that in charge of the office keep threatening us about are car and some of the people that live here are jerks too not safe for kids

If you know the history of Samoa, you would know that it’s been abandoned pretty much for years. If it wasn’t for DANCO and his EMPLOYEES wonderful Vision to restore Humboldt County back and to give opportunities to the less fortunate to have a roof over their head, this town would of been looking like downtown Oakland. Thank you DANCO and all the hard working employees who works day after day to build and renovate these amazing spacious places for the less fortunate to live comfortably and affordable. God Bless.

The new Phillis Rex townhouses are a nice place to live if you have transportation to town otherwise you will have an hour walk over the Samoa bridge to town

I lived here right when the lumber company was selling the town in the 1990’s. Even then, with the constant ravaging of the winter storms and salty air combined with the diminishing maintenance, it was getting rough around it’s edges, but I fell in love with this place even though I only lived there for a short time. It needed exhaustive work to keep it from turning into squalor. So after moving, I read about Danco buying the town and had hopes they would try and preserve it’s unique charm. It has been so many years now and they have done nothing to restore this wonderful piece of history. In fact, I doubt most will ever know what a special place this was, or could be. Hearing the ocean waves at night through the open window, walking your dog on a foggy evening around it’s tiny neighborhood painted in pastels, it just made you feel like you had gone back in time. I wished it would feel like that forever, but even then it was obvious it would be an uphill battle. So Danco, I say, shame on you for not caring. In the past, when I was in the area I would drive by to reminisce but I had to stop, it was to painful to see what a mess Danco has allowed Samoa to become. You’ve done nothing to most of the buildings and allow them to crumble. Was that your true plan when you bought the town? Wait for it to fall apart and start over with overpriced, subpar homes? It seems that it is the plan as you, Danco, have done nothing for Samoa’s residences or its historical buildings.

The people who drive danco vehicles do not care about safety or traffic laws. Danco has hit cars in the past and I have observed their drivers distracted on cell phones multiple times.

Danco apparently feels that cell phone tickets and car accidents are simply a part of doing business.

My granddaughter lived in an overpriced ramshackle tiny house with a $400 +/ mo pge due to poor heating. The tenant in the house across the gravel street filmed them every chance she got, indide, outside. didn't matter
then sent the videos to her pal Denise ( the "manager") not altogether legal but Danco's Denise didnt care. Son in law was assaulted there by a pos and Denise evicted my granddaughters bf, my granddaughter and their 5 month old baby because THEY were making too much noise. Meanwhile a danco employee living in a unit there let their kids run wild, unattended and at least 1/3 of the homes looked like tweak shacks. My granddaughters was one of the best kept by far.
Denise is a complete waste as a manager.

Very friendly and helpful. A little difficult to get a hold of at times but once they come out to fix an issue everyone's really nice ^_^
