First time buyer, doing a for sale by owner on a 90 day escrow period (what could go wrong?). Oh, and did I mention I recently retired but hadn't started drawing income on investments? Holly patiently led us through everything, worked hard to explain to the lenders how a 69 year old could handle the mortgage showing only Social Security income and every time got a lower interest rate for us. On the day escrow closed and recorded. I was able to start taking down the wallpaper in the new house to prep it for painting! (See my progress!)
