I lived at Alpine Village for nearly two years after living downtown, and I loved every moment. My previous neighbor lived and raised a family there for 20 years, and only moved to locate closer to his family. It’s a quiet place to live, tucked in a beautiful secluded part of Alpine with all the right amenities and none of the unnecessary flashiness a lot of complexes have. It’s quiet, but everyone in the community is extremely friendly and polite.
In particular, there were two aspects of living here that really made it worthwhile.
The first is the maintenance team. Any request I opened was addressed immediately and always taken seriously, and the whole team has exceptional service. On top of that, the team would always wave and smile when I passed them in the morning which would really make my day, and they always took the extra effort to make me feel welcome and safe in the community.
The second is the community team, in particular Nora Diaz. I had a legal situation that compromised my safety and had to move out quickly, and she was incredibly understanding, professional, and kind in helping me move out. She went beyond in her duties and helped establish accommodations that made the process incredibly easy for me, which immensely reduced stress on my end. After moving out, I expected a lot negotiation and reaching out regarding the deposit refund, as previous experience with larger property management companies had been a headache. I didn’t have to reach out once and I received the details of my refund, and when I noticed a small discrepancy from my complicated move out and brought it up, it was addressed and corrected the same day by Nora. AFTER I moved out.
My experiences here with the maintenance and community team, and the overall fairness and ethical business practices of Essex, truly impressed me. I have moved into another Essex community because of my experiences here.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the leasing staff for making my move-in experience seamless and stress-free. From the very beginning, Nora Diaz was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions promptly and guiding me through the process with ease.

The day of the move-in was well-organized, and the apartment was in perfect condition, exactly as promised. The attention to detail and the warm welcome made me feel right at home from day one.
