I’ve been getting my taxes done at Kroeger financial for twenty years. The service is outstanding, the people friendly and helpful, and the quality of the work impeccable. My preparers - Karen, then Orion, and then Matt have always taken the time to understand the details of my tax situation, strive to achieve the lowest possible amount of taxes paid, and then explain in as much detail as I want the hows and whys of my tax filing.

I was really impressed with their in depth knowledge of the tax code and how they dealt with my complicated tax situation - rental income, depreciation of a home sale, limited partnership and significant investment income. I quickly decided to move my investments over for management here and couldn’t be happier. Absolutely no help at all. We asked if they could figure out what the tax situation will be regarding a recent settlement and how much the feds will want out of it next year. Seems like a simple answer for a tax professional. They looked over our taxes from the previous year then called to tell me, "It's not a good fit for us." What the heck does that mean? Quite the ambiguous answer.

Once my income was noted (maybe too little for them to take seriously) they refered my to a person who could not answer most basic of questions. I earned 25% more this year than that year and was refunded money instead of paying out of pocket. Plus i was charged a fraction of the cost....
