I didn't expect so many issues in a new home. Many of them took months to resolve. The customer service representative kept on changing. Seems like nobody want to stay at this company. Many issues still open after a year of move in and some claims were even denied.

Wonderfully designed houses on big lots ~9000 sqft). Construction can take up to a year and the final price will change until you close on the house, as the market goes up, so watch out for that if you are close to your max budget. Our house was partially upgraded in the design studio and that was $170,000, with partial payment upfront, so be prepared. The silver crest sales staff are very personable, but remember to talk to the lender for the fine print like rate lock in and the like.

You have to be preapproved by the preferred lender to even be on a wait list for the houses that get released each month, and the wait list is long and first come first served so you really have to get in early.

Worst after sales coustomer services. Many issues remained opened after the closing and lasted more that 6 months. Several issues encountered during the closing and promised to be fixed were later denied.
