Today, 7/10/24, I took my daughter for a happy meal at the McDonald’s on Schillinger and Airport. We went thru the drive thru and took the food home without inspection. When my daughter sat at the table to take a bite of her food, she found a staple in the burger bun. The staple was imbedded in the bun. My daughter pulled the staple out of her food to show me. I took pictures and proceeded to call the store.
I called the store 3 times and got no answer.
I took the food back to the store (all of the food minus the small fry) and explained to an employee what happened and asked for a manager.
When the manager finally came out she acted very uninterested the situation and didn’t even offer at much as an apology.
She essentially denied accountability saying “we don’t have anything like that back here” referring to the staples. Her toned seemed as though she was trying to say I put the staple there myself. I absolutely did not.
She took the food, the staple (which I had put into an ziplock bag) and my receipt and told the cashier to give me an $8 refund. This does not even cover the full amount!
The complete lack or remorse to the fact that my child’s health could have been put at risk if she ingested this sharp staple. To down play something that could have been a VERY serious situation is insane!!

Always a problem at these locations. I have lived in mobile my whole life and in the last few years it's got to the point where I don't go anymore. My child begged me to go today and sure enough more problems today they wouldn't take cash payments. Previous visits have been way worse with screaming cussing employees my children can hear outside the building, nasty stores, wrong food in the bag, food dumped in the bag, chicken nuggets covered in some brown powder in my kids meal, they stop serving things when they feel like it not to mention the ice cream machine I gave up on ice cream. If you just must go to mcdonalds for food stay away from the jim barnes mcdonalds.

Barnes family you need to do better at the Snow and Airport McDonalds. The employees there are rude and leave you sitting in the drive thru for a long time. Then when you tell them you have a code from the app, they tell you it's already been redeemed. Maybe if I wasn't sitting there so long there wouldn't be an issue. This is the closest McDonalds to our home and we will go out of our way to not support them anymore. I don't think they even deserve the one star I have to give to make this review.

The McDonald’s on Schillinger and Airport is the worse. The employees are lazy AF and the preparation of food is sloppy. Semmes used to top the list but they are number 2 now. For one, mix the McFlurry with the m&ms and how about a spoon. They could at least try. I’m sure the employees are getting paid something to suck at doing simple tasks.

McDonald’s on Schillinger North. 30 minutes in drive thru and hardly any movement. Got to the window to order bc speaker didn’t seem to be working. Was told I couldn’t order breakfast bc all the time I waited the menu had changed. Order taker was rude and just shut the window.

My husband and I are terribly disappointed with the McDonald’s downtown on Govt Blvd. Friday evening, between 6:00 and 7:00, we sat at the drive thru for nearly 20 minutes before we pulled up, and my husband went in to place our order. The service was absolutely non existent in the drive thru, both lines had several cars in them, and yet when we pulled up there were two employees playing around in the drive through window. My husband was able to get our food in a short time while the cars in the drive thru were still waiting. He told me there were 6 kids behind the counter playing around while the manager looking lady was doing all the work, with two guys in the back helping while the rest played. This location is loosing a ton of money. We watched all the other cars pull off and leave while I typed this review. Someone should be monitoring this business. Or shut it down. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. We will not be back.

McDonalds at 2291 Saint Stephens Road. The crew was disorganized and the kitchen staff were deep in conversation among themselves and not interested in getting the orders out. My Double Quarter Pounder meal was horrible. The burger and the fries were cold and not very appealing. I will not be back.

Jim you have a huge break down in management in your local store you need to fire everyone at shillinger and cottage hill and retrain new people.
