Took my friend to see her mother and this place is the most gross pathetically ran apartment complex i have EVER been in. The lobby looks terrible, has a bad/weird odor and the fifth floor smells terrible and like cat pee. Whoever manages this building should be investigated and fired along with whoever runs maintenance. Dont move here. The elevator also stops working sometimes and floors one through three in the stairwell smell like pee. If you do visit though plug your nose until you get to the unit your visiting.

If there was a rating less than one star Vela apartments would receive it. They do not monitor their tenants; Tenants breaking into residents, trash piled high on the sidewalks, Tenants blocking and double parking in red zones, windows broken out and not repaired for MONTHS! drug's heavily circulated by their tenants-- While they sit around with their hands in their pockets!!

Terrible place came to visit a friend and saw gang members kicking in doors and listening at people doors. Please don’t rent there you will regret it. Drug addicts everywhere and the leasing people don’t care at all
