I rented one of Karens properties for 4 years. She was awesome. After she met with us, we heard back promptly. Whenever I had an issue, she took care of it. When a tree fell on our house she showed up with the tree crew to make sure it was dealt with properly. She replaced my fridge, had my chimney swept yearly, had my roof cleaned off, and had my shower faucet repaired and then replaced. When I moved out she gave me my deposit back in full at our walkthrough. When I was ready to move she lined up other places for me. She was a pleasure to work with.

My roommates and I applied for a house through Property Associates Management and the whole experience was just awful. Karen was extremely difficult to communicate with in almost every capacity and she was pretty cold and condescending according to my roommate who actually spoke to her on the phone (I just communicated with her via text).

Not only that, but when we scheduled a viewing of the property, she didn’t even tell us that she wouldn’t be the one to show us. So we waited around for a while for her to show up before the current tenant came out and let us in. She was literally in the process of cleaning and moving and was tasked with showing us the house! I would hate to be a tenant actively trying to move and have people come into my home while I’m still there with all of my stuff.

Of course we then didn’t get the house which was expected but Karen didn’t even bother reaching out to let us know. I do not recommend using this property management and it seems like these issues have been addressed by others over the years, yet nothing seems to have changed. If you could avoid using this property management, do it.

Recently found a rental through Karen @ Property Associates Management. Finding a rental can be incredibly stressful these days especially if you are in a crunch for time. This was one of the most seemless processes thanks to Karen. She was incredibly prompt, honest and thorough. I was updated at each step of the process with clear communication and she answered all my questions and concerns without hesitation. 10/10 would recommend!

We were new renters with Karen. She was amazing from the first day we committed to our rental. She very graciously accommodated our circumstances, and went the extra mile to make sure any move-in issues were immediately addressed. She was easy to communicate with, and always responded in a timely fashion for maintenance needs or anything else that transpired. We have recently relocated out of state, and she made our move-out process a seamless and stress-free experience as well. Additionally, our security deposit was refunded directly into our bank account thus streamlining that process too. Karen is a really helpful property manager and worked with my son to get in his first ever rental. I communicated with her through the process, since I provided references (as he was moving from the family home) and she's been a great landlord to him. She's very clear in her communication and does a great job. Not a lot of property managers in this crazy tight rental market would not give a 19 year old a chance, even with great references, but she did, and we've never had an unpleasant dealing with her, not once.

Karen was a very attentive landlord. She never bothered us for the entire year that we rented from her. Twice my air conditioning unit had problems, and both times she had a repairman the same day (once even on a holiday weekend). After doing a move out walk through with her, we received our deposit back in full. No complaints. Would rent from her again.

We have dealt with Karen on two rentals now. She has been very nice and has gotten back to us in a timely manner. Obviously, the one person complaining on these reviews is laughable at best, complaining about getting their check a day late! Come on now! Boy these first world problems! Karen is a one woman show and does her absolute best to get back to everyone in a very tough, tight and demanding rental market. I would recommend her company highly.
