You know you have had a good hotel stay when there are no issues. This hotel met all my expectations. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was what you would expect but it was hot and it was plentiful. We did not get a room service during this day, but housekeeping was always available to help us. We were here for four nights, so experienced more than the usual overnight guest. I highly recommend staying here. You will need to find coffee somewhere else because the hotel coffee isn’t great. There are kuerig machines in the hotel room if you use those.

Our stay was a good one because my beautiful wife was able to study in peace for her exams while I work. There were few issues within the room regarding the appliances which was uncomfortable and parts of the room we believed had not been cleaned for a very long time. We didn't recall seeing toothbrush and paste in the bathroom. But overall , we love and can recommend.

It’s nice to go to a hotel where one can relax after a day out. The room is so clean, spacious and smells good. The lights are well distributed all over the room. There is a part of the shower roof where paint has come off and the shower curtain was torn but still it was clean and spacious as well.

At the amount you pay to be in Napa, I would expect a higher quality place. I have to admit to being a hotel snob. At any means, I would choose a hotel with bigger expectations. Napa over the weekend gets fully booked. I decided to go stay in American Canyon since I was only staying one night. I’ll just drive 20 minutes to the wedding venue. Also I thought American Canyon looked nice. When you approach the hotel, it looks modern and clean. The people were nice, although I did have a negative experience at the front desk that made me lose my smile. The room was a standard 2 bedroom. I felt it could have been a lot cleaner, especially the bathroom. I liked that they used dove soap. Overall an OK place. Please hire more people to clean the place up.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made our stay pleasant. The location was good for a visit to the Napa Valley wineries. We have stayed in other Holiday Inn Expresses and had good experiences and would consider this hotel again!

We came to stay on a budget so price was good. However breakfast was the same all 3 days and they had complimentary cookies when we checked in and they never refilled it the rest of our stay. Staff was ok- But I do have to rave on the receptionist our last night there- I did not catch his name but he was super sweet and helpful with restaurant recommendations.

The a/c is a bit loud.
But i don't think the can do much about it.
I wish they had some drinking water in the room.
Everything else was perfect.
The hotel is super clean.

The rating would have been a 10, but the end of the visit was unsatisfactory. I knew that check-out time was 12 noon. I tend to pack up my belongings early and put them into my vehicle way before the time I check out. Around 10 am, I took my last few items into the car, then came back to my room to relax for about another hour. However, when I returned, housekeeping was already in my room to start their tasks. I know I left the "Do not disturb" hanger card on my door knob; I don't remove it until I'm actually leaving. I told the housekeeping worker that I had not checked out. Although he apologized and left the room promptly, I was so annoyed that I decided to just leave. I wouldn't be able to relax after that. I felt like my personal privacy had been violated, so I checked out and complained to the front desk. They offered me 1,000 points as a courtesy, but I still left dissatisfied with the hotel. All they had to do was wait and confirm I had already checked out. Management needs to train workers to not enter guests rooms until they get confirmation and verification that the guest(s) have actually checked out.
