I was hesitant to leave a review for fear of retaliation, but I see all the reviews say the SAME issues I’m having. 1. Staff at the property management company are very rude, disrespectful, condescending, and racist! Very unprofessional handling phone calls. Don’t expect a response to an email unless you get a little nasty then they reply very surface. 2. Maintenance is pretty much non existent. A neighbor of mine had a leaking roof for a year had to contact the health dept for anything to be done. Nothing here is updated sinks get backed up from other apts and you have to wait days to weeks for anything to be done about it. Maintenance man used my facecloth to clean up the mess and threw it under my sink. I’ve been dealing with as issue for going on 2 years now so resolution. 3. They don’t care about safety. The intercom system went out and they refuse to fix it. Theres no way to let deliveries in or vistors. 4. My building doesn’t have a on site manager so the mail trash here gets out of control Whoever owns these building need to look into a new property management company as well as maintenance. Swami staff and company as a whole is ZERO STARS… NEGATIVE IF YOU WANT TO BE ACCURATE. Rent elsewhere save yourself the grief. Sorry for the rant Hope this helps the best family not make the same mistake myself and others have made with this company. Do better hire better swami.

Roach infested. Office personnel is unprofessional to say the least. I understand hard times and desperation but you’ll only find more of the same here. Mismanaged, decaying properties. Issues with safety as well. My neighbors car was stolen from the garage. They refuse to update gate codes or install cameras for the safety of the tenants. They treat tenants as if their concerns are burdensome, no matter how small or large the issue. Consider if this is the type of environment you want to live in. They raise the rent yearly and yet they can’t even guarantee your safety, let alone amenities.

The lack of professionalism and knowledge is shameful. Highly incompetent individuals are giving supervisor and management positions.This company thrives off of tenants who are foreign or undocumented, if you don't know your rights, they will walk all over you and threaten eviction at every turn. They demand rent while the quality of life at their properties decline one they take over.Majority of properties have no management on site. Maintenance isn't documented, they scheduling is everywhere , they don't respect your life and your time often given less than 24 hour notice for most things. Roaches are gaureenteed. They have people spray multiple times through the years which doesn't address the root of the problem, it just kills roaches that touch the surface. When asking for contact information such as email and phone numbers the receptionist regards them to be private andunable to be given out and contractors are not adequate in timing and often come without notice. inspections are not affective , this company knows how to cover up issues without addressing them. Health department standards are out of date and they know how to use and abuse the law to workout in their favor.. They demmand rent with giving the basic services that maintain the quality of life for tenants. Mittal legacy LP is the real name of Swami International. They take advantage of Maintenance associates as well that's the reason for there poor scheduling of Maintenance.
I can say alot more but if anyone has question please do not hesitate to ask. Also they do not like Americanany kind, especiallif you know the law. Many companies including this one and no one is attempting to stop them or stand against them and the practice is and have continued to rui the quality of living in this country. And the standards of living has drastically declined contact your health department, better business bureau and health department. Roaches in 2025 should be a thing of the past .

I called the leasing office due to them towing my vehicle when parked in front of my own garage and the lady rudely yelled at me saying “common sense says not to park there” and when I tried to further explain the situation she just yelled and said “common sense!” Then hung up.

The worst experience I've had while renting from a property management company. The maintenance department is a literal joke! I was without a heater for more than a year! Any repairs I needed done, I had to call the health inspector & the housing department just for them to come out & fix anything. I had roaches & rats in my unit, there was no urgency to come take care of the issue. I repeatedly put in orders for things to be fixed for 2 years!! I was always told through email, if I was unhappy I can put in my 30 day notice. My rent was paid on time every month, I just moved out, I left my unit in GREAT condition & my deposit was stolen. I was told it would be sent to the forwarding address I gave, but instead I received a statement in the mail saying my deposit would be credited toward late rent & I still have a balance. I wouldn't recommend anyone rent from them unless you're desperate!

Rude , I think the office checks are racist very stand offish. I'm guessing cause they have to deal with so many minoritys with them accepting section 8 and all I wish they where a Lil more welcoming. They requirements are unreasonable they won't even let u n the rental office you have to sit outside in the heat I have good credit seems like she was looking for anything to shoe me away to get the government money poor customer service for sure

I honestly would not give ANY STARS for this property management because they do not care about their tenants at all. They are very good at communicating when it comes to leasing out a new unit or collecting the monthly rent but if you have any issues or maintenance issues once you are staying at your apartment it will take them months to respond to you. As a business, I find it very rude to not respond to your "clients" in a timely manner. If you see any property with the Swami International sign. THIS IS YOUR WARNING to not lease with them. I have never experienced such bad customer service with a property management like Swami. Some of the staff members are friendly but it is the higher up management that probably don't care because I even tried emailing the higher up person but never got a response from them.

The maintenance department is a joke. I have been without an oven since March and it is now June and still no one has come to repair it! They don’t respond to emails and I have never received a call back for follow up after my multiple calls. It’s like they are reading from a script when you call for answers. And my lease will not allow me to pay for repairs myself with reimbursement or deduct it from my rent. Very very frustrating.
