Let me just start off by saying, if I was able to rate Julie with more stars I would!!! My husband and I set off on a journey to sell our custom built home on property last year. We started with a different agent and company and although our experience with this agent was pleasant, we were unable to seal the deal and get our home sold. My husband and I worked with Julie Larsen in the Spring of 2022, in a very hot Napa market, to find a property that we would acquire in a 1031 exchange. Our search was for a single family home that we intended to rent to one of our adult children. Our experience with Julie was tremendous. Her deep experience and great judgment were invaluable. She quickly helped us refine our goals and generated the parameters for a productive and appropriate search. Julie was readily available for visits to properties of interest. Her background in construction and her years of experience were extraordinary bonuses at those visits, helping us to understand, for example, whether a property condition was one of the “to be avoided” sort or a “quick fix” (and everything in between). Because of strict timing requirements, we expected the 1031 process to be very stressful, especially given the competitiveness of the market at the time, but Julie reduced that stress with her competence, attention to detail, great communication style, and warm, calm demeanor, all of which builds trust. We came away from the process with a terrific outcome - a property that was perfect for our needs, at the right price, and - as the icing on the cake - a warm connection with Julie.
