We had an amazing experience working with Jessica Waggoner and her team at MAJ Realtors to purchase our first home. Jess gave us the personal touch in walking us through all the esoteric processes, answering all of our uninformed questions, and serving us up desirable prospective homes (even when we had to re-assess our price range halfway through the search :)). Jess was super responsive to all our texts / calls / emails no matter the time or day or how busy she was, and made sure we had coverage via the broader MAJ team for in-person meet-ups or closing activities if she wasn't available herself.

Jess made sure we were well equipped with all the information we needed to make an informed decision. Case in point, we were really interested in a slight fixer that would have gotten us a bigger house for the same price. We wanted to have a good grasp on the fixes we'd need to complete before going for it, so she recommended doing our own inspection with a contractor she knew, who ultimately revealed big ticket items that weren't in the disclosures. We found our winning home just a week or two later, and Jess helped us come up with a competitive price that won the bid, came in under the appraised value, and most importantly, made us feel comfortable that we weren't overpaying and were getting good value for the money.

Jessica Waggoner at MAJ realtors was an amazing agent to work with while house hunting. She helped us find a home that works for our unique needs (and budget). She is level-headed, thorough, and well-informed with so much insight! We appreciated her professionalism and guidance along the way. Everything she mentioned/suggested was spot on (for instance, even after buying the house, she continued to help us out – she made fantastic recommendations for roofers, movers, pest control, etc…). As first-time home buyers, it felt good to work with someone so knowledgeable. You are in good hands with MAJ! We had moved outside the area and needed someone local to help us prep the house and handle the sale. Alissa and her team were great. Their plan included detailed update ideas and cost estimates, as well as budget options. Alissa did so much of the legwork. I know realtor fees are a hot topic these days but I do not, for a second, think that they did not earn their commission. A lot of hard work went into prepping this house for market.
They also did a wonderful job navigating the offers and transaction. Alissa was always able to explain her decisions in a way that makes her seem like she really knows her market. We trusted her and it all paid off! Plus - Alissa, Jessica, and their team, are a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend MAJ Realtors. I'd long been impressed with how Jessica and Alyssa made the homes they were selling shine and stand out. When we interviewed them to sell our home, I loved how they balanced optimism with realism in talking about price and the market, the clear timeline and detailed information they provided about next steps, and (especially!) how they assembled a whole team to spruce up our home for the market, handling most of the details. We had a lot going on, so being able to rely on and trust that repairs, painting, marketing and all the rest would be done professionally and on time was such a relief. Jess or Alyssa were also always available for questions and when we hit some bumps in selling, Jess was calm, offered good advice, and never pressured us. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
